Just give the club a ring if you feel uneasy about not returning the product, and tell them you will drop it in later in the year when you are down for a game, I'm sure they won't be too fussed to wait.

i've traded about 20 e-mails with them on the subject, and I could sense they were getting a bit testy by the end of it. I'm just concerned because I demanded a refund before sending it back and told them it was insulting that they wanted to wait for me to send it back as though I intended to keep it.

Even after telling them that the post office specifically told me there is no chance of it getting there with the 'free post' written on it, they still insisted I just bypass the post office and go and drop it in the nearest post box.

Couldn't you just have written on it "Return to Sender"? That seems to get back to the original person if they no longer are at that address.

I signed up the other day on a concession membership as I am a full time uni student, to get the membership I didnt need any proof of concession but now I am wondering what happens when I go to the games, do I just take my student card and show it on the day??

Also, a separate question, I got an MCG legends membership with a reserved seat and I called and asked what happens if I wanna sit with non-members on bigger games like ANZAC day and they said I'd have to buy a whole other seat, but for non-sell outs if I want to sit with a friend in a general admission area can I do that without paying extra? I really just wanted the legends membership so I could have guaranteed access to a GF ticket if (when) we make it this year..

For Anzac day, Carlton, Geelong etc you'd probably need another reserve seat to sit with your friend out of the members.

For any normal match you can sit GA where ever that is and with whomever you want. Your membership will work at any gate

Ok cool, I thought this would be the case! And just for the record, I won't be buying an extra ticket for the big games I'll just sit in my reserved one and meet my friends later, I don't like the idea of holding two seats to a sell out match, kinda greedy lol.

Got my membership card in the mail a couple of months ago which I paid $180 for and which allows me to have free entry for every home game this season (except finals). I was just wondering should I be expecting anything else to be sent out to me like a membership pack or something similar?

How many home games do we have and for away games, like at etihad do we have to pay full price for a ticket?

My son is a concession member. He does not have to show his card to purchase his membership but you will have to take you concession card to games with you. Some of the MCG workers are quite full of their own self importance and just love to hold everyone up and ask you to show proof of concession...handy hint No 1....for less hassles go to a gate with a young pretty girl and smile...they just let you walk straight through!!!!

Usually the membership card comes with a few other things like stickers, lanyard & holder for the membership card, a copy of the fixture, etc.

Did you purchase the hat/scarf/shirt as well? If so, that stuff should be delivered to you too.

The standard home game membership is 11 games. Some Etihad games are actually home games (e.g. Port Adelaide Round 4).

You would need to pay full price for any away games (including MCG away games like Hawthorn Round 1), unless you have the 17 game home & away membership.

Anyone got an update on the seating/viewing issues due to these upgrades going on in the Southern Stand? My main concern is the AFL Reserve.
I heard that it is going to cause a reduced seated capacity?

Well i just got my membership card and i am not happy. My boyfriend and i decided to upgrade to reserved seats this year after having general admission last year. We chose the MCG Legends Membership as we get access to a grand final ticket should we participate.

So after filling out the seating form we get put in Q33 Row P. We paid for the premium membership only to be put in seats that we could get if we went general admission most weeks and rocked up early. I am pretty pissed off.
Anyone else have this problem?

I had the same problem, my card and membership pack was sent in January luckily though, so they had time to send me out a replacement card and kit. If you contact them, I'm sure they'll organise access to the games you are eligible to attend until they send out the new card.

Getting row P in the top tier is pretty rough, but remember that there's a waiting list for second tier (N) and i'd imagine that the bottom tier is filling up quickly. I reckon the view from where you are is better than the view from the back of tier 1 (M).

Call them, see If you can move into the bottom level in the southern stand. I could last year without any issues, only the home seats though not the away. All of my seats this year are now bottom level, it's just first year you get shafted s little
