Have watched amateur league at Thebarton Oval and it is a great to watch footy. Would be excellent for the Crows.

Thebbie oval is probably a pretty good choice - IF we can't find a base within walking distance of AO.

Thebbie does offer some advantages and opportunities.
Firstly there is plenty of land around it to put down a good sized footprint.
Secondly, there would be an opportunity to perhaps develop something with the council for the local community. The pool area at the back of the oval is well used, but getting pretty run down. A big revamp could be done with Council/ State Govt funding as well. Imagine a big development that includes Crows facilities, a public gym, basketball courts and swimming area. Include some offices for physios, function area etc... like we have at West Lakes and all is good.

The oval itself is a really good size as well and with a little renovation could easily host games.

Not sure why Port supporters are so keen for us to have home SANFL games.

Our set up is working fine. Every player that comes from our SANFL team into our AFL side makes an impact. They know the game plan and do not look lost.

The purpose of our SANFL team is to.develop AFL ready players. Not win SANFL Premierships or make money via SANFL games and a separate memberships.

Not playing Home games is making the SANFL better, we are increasing crowds for all the other SANFL clubs, putting money in their pockets to help them create stronger teams to play against, we should not play games home or away games at Alberton though unless all proceeds go to charity (and not a port Adelaide owned charity, that is just tax free, ground roots marketing).

We are Adelaide, made from all the SANFL clubs, it's fitting that we play home games at all the ovals.

Give it a rest.

Don't think it was ever officially reported, just what a Westies fan posted on here somewhere in the other thread about the guy we got from Centrals.
So not confirmed?

I can't say I feel the same way after they abandoned us during the state guernsey fiasco last year.

Martin doesn't even fit the criteria to be our SANFL captain given he's not 28+.
Does anyone?

Callinan - moved on
Reilly - not playing
Pods - coaching, and not eligible
Porps - contracted to Westies

VB probably in reality despite lack of official title. You'd think he's going to need to improve a bit over the preseason to hold his spot ahead of Lever.
I'd like it to be the case, I really would.
