I hope Roddick can get his serve going tonight like he did against Djokovic. The indoor conditions should help him immensely.
I can see Roddick winning 7-6 7-6 7-6.

I'm really hoping Roddick can manage a win tonight.
He deserves another shot at a grand slam title.
If in the case Federer wins tonight, I will be going for the world's best player in Nadal.

Federer > Nadal
Federer up a set (6-3), puts Del Potro away 6-0, 6-0 after that
Nadal up a set (6-2), has to fight with a tiebreaker or whatever.
Of course baby. xoxoAh, CHBench, you are my saviour and I love you.
You going to be around tonight?
I don't understand what you're trying to say.
Federer played Del Potro.
Nadal played Simon.
They played different people, and your comparison just doesn't make sense.
Federer played well though.
I want the final to be Roddick-Nadal or Federer-Nadal.
I might be a grinch for saying this, but I don't want another 'relative unknown' making the final, only to never make another grand slam final again. It's made for a nice story in the past, but can we at least have a big time match-up for the first time since 2005 please.
Nothing against Verdasco, I just think that if Nadal makes the final and Federer beats Roddick tonight, Nadal will actually make a contest of it, where as I don't believe Verdasco will.
Time we see Federer and Nadal go head to head on something other than clay.
Federer got it done quickly, with a minimum of fuss.
Nadal got to an early lead then struggled to close it out as quickly as Federer.
I personally think Federer > Nadal.
Personally I think Nadal is the greater player, however a big-time non-clay/grass match in a grand slam would certainly go a long way in terms of the debate.
Of course, I'd rather see Roddick in the final![]()
I feel Nadal is better than 50/50 to beat Fed at this stage, but imo Nadal's best isn't even close to Fed's best.
