Neale Daniher and his recruiting staff are most likely the reason we are crap at the moment. So I've compiled a line-up known as the 3D team.
A bunch of recycled players and early draft picks recruited when Neale was in charge. Who ended up being duds.

Byron Pickett shouldn't be in there... he put in a couple of serviceable years.

It's convenient to ignore the fact that James Cook kicked six goals and then did his knee the next week.

I disagree with Read (Pre-Season draft, what did we lose?), Ellis, Armstrong, Collins, Pickett and Holland.

Meanwhile is Chris Lamb destined to be the last MFC player ever to spend three quarters of the game on the bench almost every week? It's ludicrous to look back just a few short years and see a guy on the bench all day.

Only basing it on his form while at the Demons. Was good in '06 despite injuries, but in '07 was undisciplined and overweight. Think he also missed a game due to being drunk and not turning up because he was made an emergency.

Daniher made a grand final and kept living the dream. It ended badly but it was still a reasonable ride. Hindsight is 20/20 but Daniher did some great work for us.

A sound financial position, a bit of luck with a few players (Molan, Scott Thompson, Nick Smith to name a few) and none of this tanking bullshit and I don't think we would have fallen so hard.

Pickett was a flop. Total disregard for the team.

Seriously who the hell rocks up to round 1 and uses the first 6 h/a rounds as their preseason. And we played him so he can get his fitness up. Pathetic.

There is no doubt that some of the short sighted decisions made by ND during his tenure as coach are having a negative impact now,he never went out to find a CHB to groom for that position only Jared Rivers can lay some claim to that,still think that some clubs who have given away early draft picks for players during this years trade period will pay the price in the not to distant future!
