Fair enough, IMO I always thought Hawkins was one of the most dominant junior footballers.

I dared to dream a little too, but the reality of AFl has hit home. Unless your a top Victorian club or an AFL love child they don't give a crap.

So we need to make our own luck.

it frakking criminal how most teams have to wait a generation to land a superstar , then gws come along and get gifted 3 before they even break a sweat. and one of those (patton) would have been ours as well. gws will take boyd unless they trade it for a top 5 pick + something or a young gun. all these people going around thinking ben mcevoy + fisher or minson + pick are enough are kidding themselves. gws would ask for trengove + hartlett from us and there is too much at risk when those guys mean everything to the boys around them. boyd will be a gun though, the most sure thing since pollies decided they can give themselves payrises.

IMO the most impressive junior KPF since Riewoldt.

maybe its just the choice of set shots in the highlight reel but they all go a fair way from right to left off his right boot (straight through mind you).

GWS wont consider trading Boyd. It makes no sense. If there is a player they are after, they are more likely to trade Patton who is coming off a serious injury but still has big trade value.
