I don't like Sam. He comes across to me as a small, arrogant idiot. Didn't he spend over an hour trying to convince someone to by lemonade for $1000? People say it's "risky" but I say it's "stupid". Who in their right mind would buy lemonade at $1000, let alone listen to a small fool in a suit who looks extremely dodgy? In that time he would've made some money selling the stuff for a reasonable price - granted that it wouldn't have affected the result, still, it's better than nothing.

And the way he crawled on the floor to try and prove a point - and then standing up saying that HE will be the winner? That was pathetic. If Trump saw that he would be embarrassed to have him on the show, let alone in his building.

Sam reminds me of a chihuahua in a business suit.

He missed out on one critical thing, he forgot to value add. Someone isn't going to want to spend $1,000 on a lemonade, if they aren't going to get something worthwhile out of it. If he offered him something, ie. to advertise the buyers busuiness on nation tv, then you might have got a buyer. For example, if someone ageed, Sam could have turned around to the camera, and told people about he business of the buyer (or something like that). People aren't going to buy a $1000 lemonade for the sake of the 'American Dream'.

Imagine watching guys punch numbers into spreadsheets and putting together fat glossy pitchbooks!
Yes!!

I'd be especially interested in the type of yields that NY buildings attain, plus I'd be interested in the Modified Internal Rate of Returns available to mixed use development.

It would be incredible!!!!!!

I think they were all just sheep. After the first guy said it, it was then safe for them to think the same and not get attacked by anybody else in the group.

Agreed. The business notion of groupthink in action.

Liked Sam also. He thought outside the box. He's trying hard. Hope he goes far.

Yes saying something like "realise your dream" I'm sure he meant to say his dream:rolleyes: . $1000 for lemonade pfft now ive heard everything, even if it was a task.

He reminds me of a simpsons character, but i can't quite think of them.

The show just has to get better. It's an intriguiging idea no doubt and while they're all good lookers (well most:D) it's a change from the shagging shows going round. Bit of useful knowledge doesn't hurt.

Yeah I agree totally. I caught the episode last night (repeated from Tuesday I think?) and I thought it was actually pretty good! It's a new idea, involves a bit of thinking, and yeah I'll definitely be watching it from now on!

My mate who came back from the USA the other day told me the winner of The Apprentice and that is .................................

I am not going to stay

Likewise, got up early one morning a few weeks agoand turned on the box and saw the winner on the NBC Today show. ****ed me off big time but will still watch it develop.

Good thinking L22!!

And if anyone posts any spoilers I don't care. I'll be watching to see what and how they do it. I've heard it only gets better.

Same. It doesn't bother me if I know who wins (which I don't), I'd still watch it to see what happens week by week!

i watched the first show. it's ok, but i didn't want to sit through a whole series. it's pretty easy to narrow it down as to who can win and who can't win. after week 4, you'd have a 1 in 3 chance of guessing who could honestly win.

Yes.Trump was interviewed on ACA last tuesday night and an Aussie version was mentioned.

John Singleton seems to be the bloke they want. :o

Serious? I mean serious as in who the hell is John Singleton? I have never heard of him. I thought if an Australian The Apprentice was to get up and running, Kerry Packer would be the main guy. Maybe even Eddie McGuire:D But if i was going to apply for it, i would be taping the US series and making notes on it.

Packers name was suggested in the interview, but it would be doubtful he'd do it.He doesn't do many interviews, so I can't see him being the main person in a reality show.

John Singleton is a Sydney bloke who owns radio stations and race horses.I think he's an advertising bloke.

He always looks as though he's sloshed.

A great Australian person, who unfortunately does not have the name, but would be sensational as the rich guy would be Peter Gunn. Worth at least $500m, completely self-made man (started with one truck) and calls a spade a f*cking shovel!! :)

I suppose they could also get Lindsay Fox or perhaps Frank Lowy.

"You ask Sam what the time is and he tells you how to build a watch." Great comment by Bill, who seems one of the most switched-on guys.

It had to be Jason, the project manager, who was fired as he didn't seem in control. Enormous and very very stupid mistake by him not to speak to the client.

Can't believe that the girls won through sex again! Hope that changes!!

How was that silly cow saying that "pot calling the kettle black" was a racist comment!!

Someone please tell me Sam doesn't win or I might have to stop watching!!

Beat me to it NMWBloods with Omarosa.
Silly cow. Last time I checked, "pot calling the kettle black" is not a racist comment. I would have thought such an "intelligent" woman would have known that.

How the hell did the women win?
Those advertisements were a joke! From what it sounded like, the marketing people said that "we liked the males ideas better but we like the women better." That is what it sounded like a lot to me.

No, I don't really want to know either. I'll just have to hope!!

Sam is a classic w@nker of the highest order. I am totally amazed no one has broken his nose yet out of sheer frustration with him!

What had Nick done to get Jason to vote him as one of the two? I couldn't pick but could anyone else?

I reckon this is a great show, the best realkity offering for a long time.
Getting stuck up wanna be rich prats to try and work together is hilarious! They all fight amongst themselves and it seems the person with the loudest voice wins!
Absolutely hated the girls "penis jet" ad campaign, but the owners of the company said "be flashy, anything goes". The guys would have known it was OK to be falshier if Jason had realised you have to meet with the client when doing an ad campaign for them! Common sense eluded him, and thats why he was fired (plus, he was as big jerk who interrupted Trump one too many times).

Absolutely hate the paranoid and emotional Omarosa, shje makes snide little bitchy comments that has put everyone off side. Hope she goes down in flames very soon.

All in all a fantastic show that is compulsory watching for me now.
