Flintoff's best games are still better than Watson's best. However Watson has the potential to do what Flintoff did more regularly though.

Flintoff is pretty simple to figure out.

He played for a country that only cares about one series, he bowled series changing spells in 05 and 09 thus in England(and i guess here to) he's remembered as a superstar.

Ask a south african or an indian and they won't think much of him at all.

There are some biased Australians in this thread who laud Flintoff because he performed in a couple of games against the Australia, arrogantly assuming performances against Australia define a whole career.

Is there any chance of a Khawaja/Ferguson/White/Smith being added as batting depth later in the week, depending on Shield performances?

Probably their best chance of naming the best 11 cricketers in the country. Hell, they should name 20 million, just to make sure.

No chance.

Clearly North has some incriminating pictures that the selectors don't want getting out into the public domain.

It's the only thing that explains how he could still be in the team.
