Kiwi detected.

Agree though. We need Cook out asap. That South African can really stick around when he wants to. Great temperament for test cricket.

I've never even been to New Zealand and Cook isn't South African either - he was born in Gloucester.

My terrible attempt at humour.

Apologies Youmewe, no offense intended.
None taken.:)

I take my Test cricket very seriously. Some say it's life or death, I know it isn't - it's far more important than that.

What an idiot. Does he realise they are just playing for time and don't need to run at all?

Big win... 405 runs.

Marsh looked the goods.
Johnson dominant.
Clarke and marsh got a solid start which should do something for confidence with the bat.
Hazlewood strong.
New keeper looked likely.

Good times! Dominabt finish there. Oh and surely that's the last we saw of Watson!

That was actually really pathetic in the end by England.

All dropped their dummies when Cook got out.

Just updating my stats:

England's shortest ever completed innings in an Ashes Test match at Lord's (6 balls/over era):

Was 42.3 overs - 2nd Test 1997.
Now 37.0 overs - 2nd Test 2015.

Quick quiz question for Stuart Broad: What do the numbers 162*, 133, 192, 117, 25, 199, 33 and 215 relate to?

Answer: Steve Smith's last 8 first innings Test scores.

(From 1/1/2014 to today: 14 Tests, 1956 runs at an average of 88.91 with 8 centuries and 7 fifties).
