Saw it today at the jam factory. Special advance screening that I won tickets for.

They confiscated our mobile phones and we had to sign something before we went in.

I loved the movie. There might be a few spoilers so don't read on if you don't wanna know.

The movie is very action oriented. The origin stories have all been told, so it's straight into the plot which involves Loki assembling an army to destroy the Earth.

The interactions between the Avengers are hilarious in many parts. The crowd (which was full of Averngers nerds) was right into the film. Agent Cooulson, in particualr was hilarious. The scenes between iron man and Capt America are also entertaining.

But the best intreractions are between Hulk and Thor.

There is a a scene after the credits as usual, but not right at the end. It's between the start of the closing credits and the end.

Opens tomorrow. Myself and five mates have got tickets for a 3D screening on Saturday. Heard good things and the clips on YouTube look pretty exciting.

8 of us going Thursday night 3D session so I'll report back!

A solid 8 out of 10. Not a short movie, but not much dead time since the back stories had already been done for the main heroes. And they didn't screw up the Hulk, by spending too much time on Banner's angst about his alter-ego.

I'm sure a second one will be in the works soon enough. Hopefully if they do they don't look to add any/too many additional Avengers as the numbers for this are pretty much spot on. Enough time was given to each so they felt like real characters, without tipping the lead-up / action mix too far to the former.
