It wouldn't have been "stealing" 3 points. xG of 1.35 to 0.75 our way. 10 shots to 8. A lot more opportunities in our attacking box. First half was poor, second half decent. A draw in the end is probably fair enough, but it was hardly going to be a smash and grab before the wonder goal.

Thoughts:

• First half was as bad as it has been this season. One winger on the pitch playing centrally, no threat, giving the ball away carelessly.
• They got back into it through 15 minutes of hard yakka.
• Hard to see how you can have Jones and Mac on the pitch at the same time. And I know who I prefer right now.
• Frimpong got a lot of attention when he came on with Fulham not giving him space, until the one time where he created the goal. Has to start at RW at Arsenal.
• Nice goal but geeeez Wirtz likes to walk it in.
• Bradley was really good.

We were set up for a long throw. The shot was aiming too left and went top right. Pretty unlucky. My issue was with over celebrating and the bringing on a defender. We should have won the ball back and be aggressive not retreat to our own six yard box.

Ekitike felt his hamstring during training so the club rested him in readiness for Arsenal. Rumor also Wirtz struggling with a hammy last few games.

I wasn't expecting a win, so I should be happy. But to concede late on again - Leeds, Palace and now Fulham (I have probably missed others) is so disappointing.

I feel some sympathy for Slot as the squad lacks depth. However, part of me thinks it's self inflicted. Slot had the option to play Endo and Chiesa more and retain Elliott. But then the other part of me thinks if Slot never wanted these players and doesn't rate them then why should he play them?

Did Slot have the opportunity after Diaz was sold to obtain a replacement on the left?

Did Slot say let's wait for Guehi until the end of the season?

I think Hughes and Edwards need to share some of the blame.
