Think it'd be a mistake to go too hard against Prague 1st leg, play a weakened team and just look to keep it tight. It's fine to go to Anfield on 0-0

Keep the big guns fresh for City
As long as the crowd shows up.

Pep has NEVER beaten an Anfield crowd.

In the last month Arsenal have looked the best side in it comfortably smashing sides including us.

Arsenal are a problem. Liverpool must beat City to win the league. If Liverpool do beat City then City will take care of Arsenal for us. If Liverpool Lose this weekend then the City v Arsenal game will decide the season.

Arsenal might have been better than us when we played them, but they hardly smashed us. Two glaring howlers and a poor send off.

Looks like they are peaking at the right time of the season, they are in red hot form

Fun fact: There are only TWO teams that Guardiola had a negative record against in his entire management career, out of 146 opponents (71 of which he has a perfect 100% win record against - 197 W, 0 D, 0 L)

One is Liverpool: 7W, 6D, 8L.

The other is
Wigan: 0W, 0D, 1L.

How good do the Gunners look. Are they a bigger threat than City? Outside of that game I can’t see them dropping points. City are so consistent though.

Nunez the ultimate wildcard. We could win the league on the back of a mental three months of Nunez going absolutely ham.

I’m guessing there has never been three sides finish with 90 points. Could happen this year. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Pool/City/Gun games are both draws.

Pep has said numerous times that Klopp is his big rival, his competition, I think it's fair to say that Pep only believes one manager is on his level and that's Klopp. We will miss him greatly.

Is this the first time Maxi has been a part of it? It'll be good to see him again and hear a rendition of his song.

It is a shame Suarez isn't retired, though. This would have been a great opportunity to have him back since he played for both clubs.

Any word on flares and a traditional rowdy entrance for the opposing team bus?

Also, this…🤔

There is a lot to unpack here and if im honest a lot of it makes sense.

The one thing that didnt make sense was Klopp out of seemingly nowhere just announcing he is leaving. I've known deep down that something had happened behind the scenes. No way is he just tired and needs a break.

If the rumours of the Bellingham deal are true and Jurg has decided he's had enough of Henry and FSG. Remember that we've lost plenty of other key people before Klopp including Edwards. Perhaps Klopp has tried to stick it out given how much he loves the club, the players and the fans but every man has a breaking point.

This documentary they are doing is weird as well. Klopp always said, nothing like that will be done while he is still at the club. Then all of sudden when it's confirmed he's leaving, there is a documentary being made which I reckon Klopp absolutely loathes. But the owners desperately want it because of the exposure they bring and the revenue and potential new fans.

But it's hard to really know without being behind the curtain. Maybe Klopp is just knackered but something about the summer window didnt make sense. How did we pull out of the Bellingham deal because the funds werent there then we were suddenly splashing 115 million on Caicedo.

Again if the rumours are true and Klopp worked personally on that Bellingham deal only for Henry to pull the plug making Klopp look an idiot. Then s**t hit the fan and then Henry turned up in Liverpool out of the blue, then suddenly 115 was on the table for Caicedo cos Henry realised he might lose Klopp if the manager doesnt get what he wants. And even then it didnt work out.

Lots to unpack.

Unfortunately whatever the truth is, he is leaving us and it sucks.

If the truth ever comes out though and it's FSG's fault we lost the best manager in the world then fuccckkk the pitch forks will be out in force!
