Didn't think the Boys bathroom was as bad as made out. Was quite large and suits the house well. Same with Mitch and Mark, they were marked to hard for their first room. Vito's was horrible and can't work out why no one has said that on the show. The Cowboy couple hopefully got some guidance after these initial two weeks as they are on the right track but are very tacky.
Living around the corner from this season I have seen how much work go into the buildings that the contestants do very little. However the end result the houses look great but they are still getting worked on even though filming finished months ago.

A revelation about Ronnie explains a lot about his personality. The whole crying in the toilet bit was awkward. You'd think a professional plasterer would know not to stack plasterboard like that. Disappointing start for House 1.

It really has me beat how the boys are getting such cooperation from the council. Are they cheating? Until proven otherwise good luck to them.

Vito looks like he's finally finding his feet on the show. Dani liked House 3's bathroom the best.

House 5 spent 2 days digging out under the floor with shovels before realizing they could use a backhoe and do it in 2 hours. D'Oh. Dan liked their bathroom best.

M&M smashing it out faster than everyone else again. Are they cheating? I hope not.

We still have no idea what the cheating scandal is. Buckle up.

Not planning to watch it other than the reveals anyway. Gave it a chance, 2 weeks was plenty. All 4 couples are campaigners hopefully next year is better.

Yeah we primarily watched The Voice on Sunday and flicked over on the ads. Ended up seeing the bathrooms on Insta.

No real inclination to watch it this year.

I’m thinking the boys lied about getting approval to change the roof on their master bedrooom….but I’m sure producers would have checked and double checked this.

The reason why the block has been in Bayside for the last few years as they do anything the Block wants pretty much. They fast track everything and this is essential good promotion making them look like they get things done quickly. Where in reality they are slow and incredibly expensive. (the cost to just remove a tree from a backyard is over $450 for a permit!)

I would think the cheating scandal would have nothing to do with the council as this might implicate them. On a side note I do remember seeing an Asian couple driving one of the vans and being on camera so this could mean a couple gets kicked off.

Ah yeah of course the twins master is meant to be a garage.

I lived in a converted garage and its 100% against council law, the ceiling height is too small. Also needs proper insulation, smoke detectors etc- which mine didnt have lol. (Bastard neighbours dobbed us in- after I lived in there no issues at all for over 10 years)

Still don’t know how the twins are meant to get plumbing underneath the floor to their ensuite through the floor joists and beams when there is only a gap of 150mm. How would you fit a 100mm pipe through the beams and give it fall as well?

Yeah, you're probably right about the council. I haven't seen any Asian couples in the promos but it would be big if a couple was kicked off the show. I hope we don't have to wait too much longer for all this to come out.

Scott went on to explain that the scandal is set in the first few episodes.

“It tangles a lot of feathers from the start. It happens on day one or two. We took a step back and thought, “What the hell is going on here?”

If this is true, then it was Josh & Luke using their tradie to paint their challenge room. It's been and gone. I hope not, because that would an absolute fizza.

Nothing much happened on tonight's show.

The first challenge occurred and R&G made a bit of a dick of themselves when they thought they had won and they didn't. But it was nice to do those things for Barkley House. So the fans got a bit extra cash to play with.

The twins still acting like dicks.
