They did them, you can watch on 9 now, just haven't shown them on the nightly episode, so they can build up the drama.

Apparently Leah wanted The Block to be a springboard into being a TV presenter. This is why Leah has now had an attitude readjustment after speaking to Eliza about it. Apparently Eliza said this toxic behaviour that you’re showing won’t do you any favours in landing a gig.

There has been quite a few past Block contestants who have gone on to have successful interior design and building careers. I think Steph will really benefit the most from this lot post series, as her design work on the show (IMO) has been terrific (apart from the disastrous first week bathroom which was mostly the fault of incompetent builders). I think Leah & Ash already flip houses in Qld so they will probably continue doing that. I can't remember if any of the others have Reno experience (except the girls who we know had none).

Really mind boggling some of the placements of windows in all these houses. These must already be in place and the couples have to design their rooms around them…Big windows in showers so they can get covered in water I just don’t get….

I though it was pretty clear. The room done in H5 wasn't a bathroom, which makes a difference. The waterproofer did the room without the pre-inspection and unknown to E&L. The (now sacked) builder had pictures of the room on his phone in various stages of completion. So they decided to look at the photos and saw that the room was compliant and passed it. However, if it had of been a bathroom that would never had been accepted the and waterproofing would had to have been removed (which has happened before).

Ash is building a bathroom, so pictures are not acceptable. It's a different scenario and it was explained to him that they can't do that for a bathroom. They told him E&L's situation was different. He wouldn't believe it because all he could think was E&L were getting special treatment.

Now, I agree, Keith & Dan were being lenient to E&L in this case, but only because it wasn't a bathroom.

The 9 and 6 team have faith in him as a trade and can trust his work. However the process was with photos.

I tend to look past the drama as I can't really stand it, but look with Leah she was very happy earlier to be that mean girl with the snipey comments and the bullying of Steph earlier on. The 7 shades of arrowroot quip as she walked past was straight out of high school and no editing was needed for that one. I honestly think she has made her bed.

Anyway, after all of that well done to Steph and Gian on the big win.

Interesting I her LinkedIn profile and she's actually a registered architect even at a young age in her career. So generally knows what she is doing in that area.

I agree. But if it had of been a bathroom, they would never have accepted it. That's the point. E&L got lucky on that occasion, that's all. I thought Ash was making a mountain out of a molehill there to justify his own circumstances.
