CHANNEL 7's foray into football entertainment has ground to a screeching halt with the network last night confirming the show had been axed after just five episodes.

Wow, that's interesting. I watched it a bit and didn't find it amazing but it was't really very different to Before the Game.

They tried to go with the obviously cheesy gags and such which work on things like Talking About Your Generation and Good News Week but perhaps don't appeal to a footy public.

They still reckon they're not "axed" pfffftttt......

Theres plenty of serious shows...One Week at a Time, Sunday Footy Show, Gameday, Footy Classified.

sorry dude but if you think FTA tv will give you anything other than brain-dead shit then you are a simpleton. the show you're after exists, it's called before the bounce on fox. dunstall-frawley-wheately-fleming, it's gold. dare i say it, too smart and funny for FTA and too much footy talk for FTA.

i really dislike light entertainment shows using football as a vehicle to peddle their wears. the panel is dead, it's not coming back, no need to dress it up as a footy show.

Only watched it once (the first show) thought it was crap and never tuned back in.
Straight to the scrap heap with Live 'n' Kicking, 4 Quarters and whatever else 7 has served up..
