Spent Saturday in the Atrium at Flemington . Back a couple of winners , Elvstroem got me out of the poo ,went all up on Alinghi so a profitable day was had .
Standing at the table next to us was Chris Newman , Tom Roach , Brent Hartigan and a couple of other young blokes i did not recognise . Also spending the day with the boys was none other than "Brendon Fevola "
We could start a nice rumour there if we wanted to , What was he doing out on the turps with all the young Richmond blokes ? There just maybe something in that , you never know.
Anyway , i barrelled young Tommy Roach at the bar . Fair Dinkum , he looks about 13 years old . Congratulated him on i good first season , said he was a bit stiff not to have gotten more games / game time .Told him i was really impressed with his first game against Geelong , said him and Nathan Brown were the only ones who looked like they gave a stuff that night , he just laughed and thanked me . He said he didn`t care he was happy with his first season and was looking forward to things .
Asked him what he thought of plough , he said fantastic speaker , really inspiring , there is a real buzz about the place . Happy about that !!!!!!!!!
Interesting when i asked him about Ottens . he was pretty blase` about it all , said he really didn`t know what was going on there and didn`t seem all that phased about it , said it didn`t matter because we would get something good for him . The impression i got was he is not held in all that high esteem amongst the playing group , interesting .
That was about it , didn`t want to hassle him to much , good young kid though .
Fevola is a pi..er though , he spent the whole day ........... oops , i wont write that , he`s engaged isn`t he ?
