there was a dumb richmond poster saying that maxwell copped one without getting one back and was 'pwned'... i watched the clip and didnt see anything like that. is it in there?

Yeah, it did happen - Hislop gave him one - but it was smart and disciplined and tough by Maxwell to NOT retailiate
 
As noted by Rohan Connolly on The Age, where was Hislop where the real toughness was needed when the game was there to be won.

He was pissweak - gave Heater a whack behind play when Heater was already on his knees from a solid shirtfront. Then that high smack in the scone on O'Bree... not happy. Is that how they gauge how hard they are? King hits from behind?

It was magnanimous of Heath to also stick up for Jake King. Jeez I would have been happy flattening him the little ferret :mad:
 
Hislop will also get fine and maybe reported for almost throwing the umpire away, have a look at 1 minute.
Collingwood didnt actually get owned in the fight if you look jake kings jumper is literally ripped of his back and all the Collingwood players are on top of the richomond players. i bet if we didnt have September to think about Hislop and King would be in intensive care

It was awesome to see such solidarity by the players in protecting their mate.

Maxy hit the nail on the head on game day, Richmond were tough behind the ball but as soon as it was time to put their heads over the footy they went missing quickly.
 
Its a real statement on their culture over on the Richmond board where 90% of them are lauding King's efforts in nullifying Didak and "actually trying".

Happy to see the back of the midget at the end of the year when the new coach comes in and rectifies the situation.
 
Anyone who is thinking Richmond won the fight is kidding them selves. We won the game and ther fight. Pathetic by the Tigers. Loved Swan pulling at Delidio's hair, awesome. GO PIES! The shambles of a club called Richmond i hate with a passion nearly as much as Carlscum. Thrashing in the brawl and the game.

maxwell didnt have much to say next to hislop

His-slops is a dirty dog, Maxy is a true leader of men. As he said after the game; "We don't need to get into that, we've got a premiership to focus on."

oh well collingwood would be laughing they won he game and will be playing finals we won the fight

Admittedly it was the only time your players showed any spirit. It was a pyrrhic victory, if it was a victory.

Like Maxwell said today on gameday...it was pretty average by Richmond. The Pies could not retaliate...as if they would blow a finals appearance on a Richmond player.

Maxwell had to take punches to the head, Didak copped one in the guts then continiously as he was down...shaw copped one from hislop...O'Bree copped a forearm to the head.


I just loved how when King got the ball, everyone jumped on him. We weren't going to let them get away with it that easy.


King is a little midget. His sole role in the game is to annoy and harrass. If he had held Didak to 15 touches I'd congratulate him. But Didak still had 30 and kicked 2 goals.


King has no talent at all. ALl he can do is piss people off. Rhyce Shaw last week was also ready to smack him. The trainers had to pull him off the ground.

The common theme though is that Tigers are getting smacked. What possibly can King say to his opponents?? He has no edge...nothing to sledge with. His team is getting belted, he is a midget, he is getting beaten by his opponent and he will possibly get delisted. He is an example of why Richmond are a rabble.

People are congratulating him for flying the flag. Being an annoying fkwit is not an achievement. All COllingwood did was win by 100 points and dispense with an average team.
 
pffft on the whole thing. .if that's the best they have got, and it obviously is, then there is going to be lots more heart ache for the Tiggers. We got way bigger fish to fry. Good on Maxy for calling them out on Game Day.
