We could always discuss who is the best, (and worst) West Coast recruit to ever come to Geelong.... Brian Cook, Mitchell White, Brett Spinks, Geoff Miles, David Haynes or everyone's favourite, Andrew MacNish. :D

I remember going to the first preseason game that Brett Spinks played in. After buying the record i felt an imediate sense of dread when i turned to the middle and found that our "gun " recruit had inherited the number 14 from Steven "chopper " Handley. It slowly got worse from there.

Brian Cook has done alright - done more on and off the field than Spinks.

Andrew Macnish - man, did that guy do anything for Geelong but keep the washing machine turning for his guernsey when he turned up to training? Was the recruiting guys back then the same as now?????

As a forward, he achieved something that only Ronnie Burns has been able to match, in recent times.

Andrew MacNish played 3 games for Geelong in 1992 and kicked 7 goals.
