Good for you son, but this is the Roar thread. How bout you go preach in you own thead instead trolling the Roar thread.

I thought it would be an opportune moment to get something in after all the rubbish the Roar players said about Ange leading into the round 2 game. Not sure, why they felt the need to constantly try and peg him back after everything he did for them.

That was the basis of my post in this thread.
Collingwood, Liverpool and Melbourne Victory. What a scumbag!

Love 2 of those 3 to bits- Collingwood and Victory. Liverpool has been the club I've supported since I can remember but their lack of ambition has really turned me off them somewhat and their style of play is just rubbish. Since the early 00s, Arsenal has been the team I've enjoyed watching the most. Admire everything about them- their style, their management, their youth set up and focus etc.

Oi... two of those things make him scum. Leave Liverpool out of this! :D

Just so many things wrong with Liverpool at the moment has me putting them on the back-burner. By no means am I a "bandwagon" supporter but the club is too "small minded" for a club of its stature. The last few managers and transfer activities reflect this. It's slowly becoming a middle-tier club.

And Dale, that was 3 or 4 rounds ago. I'm sure Ange has moved on as have the Roar players. What hasn't stopped is Victory fans coming into a Roar thread and sticking it to us supporters. We're not as resourced or as heavily supported as the Victory, but we're damn well as passionate as your mob are.

So far the only ones who haven't been pain in the arses about last night have been Heart fans! Heck, the sorest of sore losers, BigFooty's Perth Glory brigade have probarbly been celebrating the Hearts win last night more than they have!

Stick with the Red Men Dale, we'll climb the ladder again, no doubt! I have faith that Brenden Rodgers will get us up back towards to top end in time.

I somewhat agree with Robbie Slater here. It seems like we're not at our top gear atm and we just expect that it wil suddenly turn on. Get angry Roar.

Every Roar lost, Mr Bojangles and the sooks of Perth FC cream their ******* pants

Everyone seems to enjoy seeing us at the bottom at the moment :) I guess thats what happens when you are successful...opposition supporters get jealous and want to see you fail. I don't follow too many good sides so it's a first for me and I enjoy their hatred :D

As for us, we're rubbish at the moment. Rado seems out of his depth and he'll either have to come down hard on the players or he'll fail. Was told on the weekend by someone who was having a drink with one of Roar's players (after the WSW loss) that at this stage the players feel like they've achieved everything and are just being lazy. It was said in a 'who gives a f**k' type of way, and if that is the case we'll struggle badly this year unfortunately.

It's up to Rado to put it right. Players in his sights should be Paartulu, Nichols and Broich for a kick up the backside, Murdocca, Jurman and Steffanuto because they're not up to it. He needs to make a statement with the team picked this week imo.

That really concerns me honestly. If that is the attitude of the professional level football player here in Queensland, then that attitude will in turn take an impact on getting more mainstream support for the Roar.

Look, I don't come from a football background, I was Aussie Rules and Rugby participant while always loving watching the EPL highlight show on SBS during the 90's. But after working in a community footy club for the last couple years I know for a fact that attitude is everything. If there are players who aren't dedicated to winning every game comfortably, or just don't care anymore, sell them and bring in hungry new blood. Surely we must have some talent coming through.

That said, here is hoping that we snap out of this slump this week. CARN THE ROAR!

I agree. I was with a bunch of friends when told about the conversation and basically everyone felt the same way...it's why I think Rado will either have to come down hard on a good percentage of the side or he'll fail. Ang obviously kept a really good level of professionalism while he was at the club and Rado is struggling to keep it going.

Luckily Qld does have some really good talent coming through. We are leading the way in a lot of areas of youth development as seen at the recent National titles that saw Qld Metro win it and Qld country come second (with some saying country looked the best side)

I think a big crowd and big occasion v Sydney should see us snap out of our slump...players will be tired though...apparently they've done double sessions all week...maybe Rado is starting to crack down :)

Might have to weasel myself a ticket. At the moment, all I can afford is a couple of cheecky schooner's at the RE while watching the game. Not bad, $3.50 and usually a decent Roar crowd there to have a chat with

We're playing Del Piero's Sydney FC tonight, which means not long to go until I get to see the greatest signing in A-League history...

Can't wait to see Emile Heskey in 15 days time ;)

VS CCM today at CCM. How do you think we will fare?

I will be at my usual spot for the gme (The RE Hotel, Toowong) if you blokes want to join. Should be a decent Roar crowd there. Last few home games I've gone to there has been at least a table or two full of supporters

The Shafston is also pretty good for watching Roar games now...it's the official away game pub so gets plenty of Roar support...I'll be on kid watching duties today so won't be heading to any pub unfortunately :)

If we win our playoff against Burinam, our group will be:

FC Seoul (Korea)
Velgata Sendai (Japan)
Jiangsu Sanity (China)

What's going on with Takahashi? Is he injured or just a bit shit.
Playing Youth league atm and obviously behind Donachie...It takes time sometimes but there are rumors that we've signed an overseas defender for january and one of Takahashi or Dong will be leaving.

Stand by for every single tosser Melbourne Victory supporter bringing up the comments from the last game should we lose this one.......

Rado needs to be feeling pressure now. Surely.

Don't know about others but I've moved on from the last game and the comments- highlighted by Rado's apology in the media during the week.

This time around it will be far more even and balanced with both sides fielding strong teams at about full strength.

All I am concerned about is getting another 3 points and further increasing the gap between our clubs and closing the gap on those above us.

As for Rado, there's no doubt that the mercury is rising for him.

Rado should be feeling the pressure but he has a 5 year contract. Smith, Steffanuto, Broich, Berisha etc etc all on long term deals...it's one of the reasons we've turned to crap as the players have all taken the foot off the pedal.

No confidence going into this one. They'll be up for it and we don't give a crap so it points to a loss. Looking forward to January when hopefully we can get rid of 2 or 3 and bring in a couple of players who'll actually care if they win or lose a game...A win will actually piss me off as much as a win as it'll show that they can play when they feel like it

Long term deals are very common in football worldwide- particularly for players that clubs wish to keep. These guys are professionals, they don't just take the foot off the pedal because they have the security of such a long term deal.

I strongly believe we need to get rid of Jurman fast. Not a fan of him at all.
