We ultimately lost against the Giants because we didn't have a functional forward line, with too many of our entries going straight into the hands of their defenders. I think it's a bit harsh to criticise the coach for bringing at least one key forward into tomorrow's game. It really needed to happen, and it's no surprise that it happened.

Now hopefully the players will play their part.

A massive problem doesn't even fall on him, it's the centre midfielders not communicating in the centre at bounces and stoppages around the ground, too many times our players get sucked into the contest instead of back a teammate to win it, so when the ball comes out we're constantly screwed.

Same thing with the Long bomb to a contest, as long as a key tall or player makes a contest in the forward 50 where crumbers can get too I'm fine, it's clear it's apart of the gameplan, thats why those having a sulk every 10 minutes about Tom Phillips disposal when he kicks to a contest is just silly, because thats what is required. It failed in the second half without Moore last week but it worked in the first half.

Massive assumption. If you're privy to the actual game plan then please confirm but otherwise to presume that a lace out pass onto the chest of a leading forward isn't favoured over a long bomb onto the heads of a pack is just a bit silly. Especially in situations like Saturday where you lose Cox and Reid before the game, Moore during it, and you're already without your best stand on the head of packs player in Elliott.

The only scenario I can see where Bucks doesn't finish this season at the helm is that it goes completely pear shaped and he announces late in the season that he won't be coaching in 2019. Even then, the club may require that he remain at the helm rather than elevate a stand-in option while they initiate the search for a replacement.

We also saw tall defenders intercepting and rebounding the footy in the 2nd half because we didn't have a tall option capable of providing them with a contest.

Irrespective of the coach's performance, he is guaranteed to stay...welcome to Eddiewood - look after your mates over the club.

Very sad times that our club has been hijacked by a small group of mates who think they are the club.

I am hoping for a complete turnaround in game plan and structure and we make the finals....or I hope it is a complete bust and we finish bottom.

I do not want another wasted season (of mediocrity interpersed with some great quarters, games, or "honourable losses". I do not want to hear excuses that we would have won if so and so was not injured and injuries derailed our season. Other than 2016, multiple other teams were worse hit with injury and still managed to finish above us) and again finish in no man's land (12-15).

At the moment Collingwood is like the federal Liberal Party. The person in charge promised soooo much before he became numero uno but has been a total letdown since taking over the top job. Both have cited lack of talent within their team, poor form and recruiting, both are unwilling to allow others to have a say and both are pig headed and refuse to make appropriate moves. Us supporters want change....any change would be better than what we currently have

I’ll take the bait. That performance was ugly, and piss poor for 3/4. We played a vfl side who have a woeful mid field. What should have been an easy ten goal win turned into another unimpressive 24 point win. Most of the game was a training drill.

Carlton only had 3 on the bench for most of the game as well. Funny how that was an excuse for pies last week vs GWS but non of you ACPBS are talking the pies not maximising the winning margin when the blues only had 21 players.

This pies team lacks the killer instinct, and skill, to put a dud side to the sword. We’re simply flat track bullies. If you’re bouncing around for the weekend thinking this team is impacting the finals then you got rocks in ya head.

Bucks even sprayed the players at 3/4 time for piss poor finish to the 3rd qtr. and how’d they respond? Lost the 4th 26-18.

Same old same old performance we’ve seen over the past 4 years for mine. A rebound win after two pretty average performances to start the year

The second half was frustrating, and as you say we should have won by more. Did you see any positives in the performance?
 
I look at it this way.. you can be a bad coach if you coach enough games.. inevitably what happens.. you will coach a good game.

Still needs to be sacked or should resign to give our list a decent crack at it.. the list we underrate.

Even if we make finals.. it's more to do with talent rather than Buckley. I'm not looking for just finals.. I want it all the way.. and for a long period of time. I will not accept anything less. Thats me.. jovial yes.. but steely resolve.
