Byrnes was an honest tryer but I agree with previous sentiments his awareness and abilities were below what's required to hold a place in one of the most skillful sides in the comp. He would probably be a useful burrower at centre bounces if 5 or 6 other guys suddenly got sidelined.(!) I can't forget the time he tackled one of his own team in the finals!!
