Well on the upside this has solved my Houli/Palmer decisions for the next few weeks. Ebert jnr is my other midfield bench so I might have to look at someone else. Pretty confident Chad will be back earlier than the medicos say.

I already have Priddis on my bench, luckily his back pretty soon. Might have to play Bird and Palmer on field for a week, with a 1mil+ in two players on my midfield bench.

I could trade him for Corey, Judd etc.

Difference between Priddis and Chad is that Chad is a proven elite premium and the fact that elite premiums are very hard to find in the backline, especially this year. Its definately not worth wasting 2 trades to get rid of him and then get him back him, unless you've still got 20 trades and a near perfect team.

Priddis is a little different, there are many options in the midfield and Priddis isn't a 'must have' in your team. Chadwick is, especially with the current demise of Bowden and sketchy form of Gilbee, Milburn and Fisher. If you told me Gilbee got 30 touches and a goal I'd be expecting a score of atleast 150 not the 90 odd he scraped together.

I was happy with my backline, and I woulda had to sacrifice too much to fit him into backline. My current backline; Mattner, Johncock, Goddard, P.Burgoyne, Birchall, H.Shaw and Pfeiffer.

I'll probably use a trade, and get someone in for him.
