Shiels elbows Lang in the back of the head, clearly a controlled and deliberate movement, off the ball not in the play and snipes him running past and gets a 1k fine.

This thread will be full in no time with nothing but frustrations and despair. Good job MRP.

The thing I like about the Shiels-Lang incident is how several Hawks fans on here have been attributing the blame to Lang, not Shiels by saying Lang was laying a shepherd and Shiels was just trying to get to the player with the ball. You'd think Lang guided Shiels' elbow to the back of his head.

That was laughable to get a suspension.

As for the first cat to be suspended - McCarthy on Easter Monday. He'll jump for a mark and hit a Hawks player in the head with his knee; they'll deem it an unrealistic marking attempt and charge him for making head high contact
