The boomers say that there's no full forwards anymore but there totally are key forwards which is the same thing.

We have strikers which are like the rock stars of the game.

So the game is now fixed until another coach finds out how to exploit the rules.

Obviously the competition is more illegitimate than ever with Geelongs cheat ground the biggest offender.

But in terms of entertainment value the game is very good right now.

The competition is the off field, the game is the onfield
cant have one without the other unless you are like Elon Musk or whoever and have billions of bitcoines ready to start a new breakaway comp.

You can't have a potato without sunlight that doesn't mean it's the same thing

The competition is illegitimate because the AFL exists only as a business model to give exposure to corporate advertisers.
It's hard to sit through a game with digital fences and every square inch covered in adds for junk food, cars and other s**t items.
We have 2 derbys for $$$ reasons. The AFL sets up 'revenge' games for Carey vs Archer and JHF vs North.
Some clubs rarely play particular clubs twice. In the past you could sell home games to the Gold Coast.
The crowds are theater crowds and the stadiums are concrete boredomes.

The competition is the bastard child of a cheating couple. Now that it’s grown up and run off the rails, it’s easy to see why it has massive flaws and inequities when it was conceived that way.

Things keep falling up its nose and people act surprised.

I personally can’t wait for GWS vs Gold Coast at the south Sydney thunder dome. It’s always one the blockbusters.
