I confess, I was very nervous about tonight's game.

Given what has gone on this week, and our horror year of injury, the new team of coaches, I reckon that had the lads lost tonight, then there would have been no shame at all in it.

But they showed they were a class above. I needn't have worried.

Actually I had lots of doubts tonight, but thought we showed lots of great signs against Hawks at times, so was hopeful.

But Eagles were really finishing the season well, great rucks, mids, forwards, backs and our guys have been patchy so yeah, did have lots of concerns.

Plus the JMac effect was an unknown.

Great win by the boys.

Felt it would always be a close one, but I thought we'd eventually have a lapse in concentration and get broken ala last week against the Hawks.

Glad to see we didn't and kept up the pressure.

I confess that I thought Krakouer's position on the list was a bit uncertain.

But in the last three weeks he has really shown his value to the team. It's highlighted how much we've missed having that small forward who can crumb and kick goals.

Yep same on Krak. Not so much his position on the list, but I thought he was a fringe player and he wasn't as big of a loss. Having him back the past month made me realise he definitely is in our best 22. Everything he does is just clean.

This year we are back in the trenches with the rest of the teams, backs to the wall,each game hard, gritty battles.
We can win the last two games we can also lose one. We are back to having to have faith
