First the good...

What about the bad?

As much as I like punk, the current batch of singers are crap...silly nasally voices mean reaching for the remote now.

Chester Bennington
50 Cent
Fred Durst - this cretin should just stick to making money and keeping his mouth shut.

He makes his money by not keepin ghis mouth shut...

I nominate the most recent 'Popstar' winner: Scott Cain.

Whatsername from Magic Dirt.

Kasey Chambers live - my ears needed counselling afterwards.

I think Fred Durst has an excellent voice, it's just hardly ever on show because of the type of music he performs with Limp Bizkit - I remember him performing a softer song on that concert for Sep 11 and he sounded awesome.

Ja Rule.
If the ****er would keep to "rapping" instead of trying to "sing", he'd still be the worst, but only just over the likes of Fred Durst and Chester Bennington...

Yes.Her cover version of True Colours is one of the most painful things I've ever heard.

Its getting played for the Rugby World Cup on Foxsports...Oh the pain !!
Worst cover song ever (could start a new topic here)

I am suprised that YOKO ONO ain't got a mention yet, maybe it's because we all have blocked her voice outta our memory. Man she sounds like cats sufficating in a hessain bag:(

He doesnt have a bad voice! its excellent

Ill put in another nomination for Scott Cain and throw in one for Britney Spears (not the ive heard her actually sing very often - but seriously, who can get as far as she did without ever singing live, its madness)

Adalita.

And once upon a time, i'd have agreed. But i seriously recommend you reassess based on her recent efforts (last 2 albums). The transformation is stunning (either that or her producers are masters with pitch enhancement software!)

Anyway, Billy Corgan's voice makes me have visions of the baby in "Who Killed Roger Rabbit?". Painful.

And Anthony Kiedis' voice only sometimes threatens to fall into key with what he is "singing" to.

Johnny ****ing Farnham, his voice grates on me so much, that I feel like smashing something when I hear his voice, even when he talks his voice s***s me.

He always said he was a poet, not a singer & if you look at him that way, you have to love him. :D
