The Crows MUST pump the Power

The crows need to hit next Sunday's showdown like they hit Geelong on Friday night. They not only have to win they have to aim to get their percentage up if they wish to over haul the sides on top of them on the ladder. With Richmond the following week the Crows have a good opportunity to make up plenty of ground when it comes to percentage while at the same time making sure they win.

Port are gone. mentally shot. I watched the game tonight and they are directionless. I can not see them realistically pushing the crows but it is a showdown after all and traditionally they can be close matches when you least expect it. Expect a brusing encounter as I wouldnt be suprised to see an undisciplined port try to bully the hard running crows.

Their last two games have followed a similar path with an emotion-fueled start that isn't sustainable.

If we can give a good account of ourselves in the first quarter I think we can break them. The only thing you don't want is a couple of early Motlop goals and a weaving run-and-bounce goal from Rodan to get them started.

Must bring the same intensity and not let it fluctuate.. As we all know, the showdown is a grand final for the power.. Sure they look shot mentally etc but a lot of things also seem to just go their way in showdowns for some reason.. We can't give them one bit of breathing room to even think "we can maybe do this"..

If we beat them then yes, especially if Richmond win tomorrow and the Eagles beat Carlton at Subi because it will sent Port down to 16th on the table

my mother has one of those hideous decorative kitchen sets that were popular in the 70's. Enormous hand carved spoon and fork, I think they are from Fiji. Anyway they hang on the wall and are a little bigger than a squash racket. I'm tempted to rip that spoon ****er down from the wall and bring it along.

I want to go with a massive "0-10 and counting" banner, but if I went I would be going with my fiance who is a Power supporter so there is no chance of that happening.
