Does anyone else love this quirky and brilliant group? They are often described as hyper-literate indie rock. They're in my Top 5 and I've never seen much love for them around these parts, despite the good music taste of quite a few here...

Great band. The Crane Wife is a killer album. I haven't heard any of their other stuff though.

actually havnt gotten around to checking Crane Wife out but i have Picaresque seriously one of the must have albums from 2005. colin meloy has a fantasic unique voice.top songwriter.

her majesty is the other album to get. billy liar,LA im yours are some sweet ear candy. that album has a real stage show vibe
