Back when I was eight the first two albums I bought with my own money (having a Rockwiz moment) were Blondie's 'Parallel Lines' and DEVO's 'Q: Are We Not Men? A: We Are DEVO' and both are still amongst my favourite albums. My continual quoting of "Are we not Men? We are DEVO" at school lead to me receiving my nickname from a couple of Kis fans after a school disco when I was the only one to dress up in a DEVO costume while everyone else had dressed up a member of Kiss. It cost me a couple of teeth and broken nose which may explain why I hate Kiss with a passion.

I love their earlier stuff the most, especially the ones that came in two versions, the standard and 'Booji Boy' versions, 'Jocko Homo', 'Satisfaction' and '*********'. But my favourite is the 'Secret Agent Man', a fantastic cover and brilliant video.
