The truth of the matter is, the dockers were EXTREMELY jealous of the Eagles from the moment the dockers joined the AFL. They knew that to be taken seriously they would have to do a "West Coast" and win the premiership in their first 5-8yrs.

Due to MANY coaching blunders (Neesham & Mcleod), drafting catastrophes (take your pick) and general inability to get much right on or off the field, the dockers made the decision to start emulating a lot that the Eagles do so the dockers could start on their path to success. So they started to get a team together that would beat the Eagles, because if you can beat a successful team you become a successful team. (Don't you?? )

So from the early beginnings of the new millennium the dockers began their new quest. Put together a team that will beat the Eagles.

At the beginning of 2006 they saw the fruits of their labour, they beat the Eagles in a close match. The dockers had arrived.

Now that the current dockers have had a few victories over the Eagles as well as won their first final, the common belief is that they are top 4 certainties.

People do not be fooled by the hype. The dockers have always been wannabe's. No heart, no soul, no belief and too few players with legitimate talent.

Their team that has been put together to beat the Eagles may actually do it again this week. If they do, do not let it persuade you that they are still genuine contenders.

I've never been jealous of the eagles, more success to em I love this state. The supporters however....are fierce arrogant pigs, I was an original member of the dockers with my Dad when we lived in Perth.

He would take me to every home game and the response I got from other teams supporters was nothing short of downright cruel. I remember two drunk eagles fans who actually tried spitting at me after the game at subi, congrats guys you spat at an 11 year old kid, be proud of your club

Too tell me I have no heart is an insult to me and 40,000 other members. What you think because you were frist here you have the right to be judgemental. I hope we belt the tar out of you.....simply to wipe the smug grins off some eagles supporters who need a reality check

But what I have read lately , According to WCE BF posters , Eagles dont care about derbies ...its another game ...which is fine by me .

One thing Eagles dont have is a true football crowd. WCE crowds are the most quiet in the league...Even vrs Collingwood during the game Karl Langdon says all west coast fans listening at the game now is the time to cheer ....What the ?? you need advice on when to cheer..

Say whatever you want ... Dockers fans are well aware of our past mistakes.

Once again, we are aware of our past mistake`s and dont run away from them ...

Yet we intimidate the umpires so much that we get all these unwarranted free kicks, FFS you docker trolls can't have it both ways.

Whilst dockers supporters throw out the "we are more passionate and louder" crap all the time, we know its rubbish. Whilst you have had no success we realise you need to cling to anything which might make you feel warm and fuzzy. Whatever floats your boat I guess.
