Anyone a fan of mark e smith's half-coherent ramblings over the many different styles of fall rock?

new album Ersatz G.B. seems like another belter
3 very strong albums in a row:thumbsu:

this song suits this vid to well:D

it's never to late to try this band

Damned right. Mark E. gives great interview'n'all

A mate is obsessed with this band but I've always been a bit love/hate with them.

Songs like 'Totally Wired' and 'Kicker Conspiracy' are great along with Putting me away. Some other stuff sounds like a pissed local at an English pub on karoeke night.

Also, Mark E Smith is a bit of a prick to be honest.

Yeah a mate of mine is completely obsessed with them and rates them the best band ever. I'm a fan but they have their ups and downs.

I don't think Mark E Smith is a prick or a bit of a prick I just think he hates everyone and is a bit socially awkward.

He really hates everyone a lot.

That's Mark E Smith at his best, Rowche rumble, I am damo suzuki, rebellious juke box, NWRA etc..

The man is a prick of the highest order but it's part of what makes him and the music of the Fall so great. :thumbsu:

hex enduction hour is one of my favourite albums ever.

saw them at meredith last year, mark-e was in fine form. when he got pissed off at one of his band members he'd go and turn their amp off for a bit.

yeah true
have you checked out renegade?
such a good little book. really different from your usual music book. it's all over the shop, but very funny.

they have a strange charm about them.
the cannon is inconsistent (not heard them all) but of course it would be with near 30 albums.

Bought the new album Ersatz GB yesterday and have had a couple of listens today and love it. 29th studio album from Mark E Smith and the crew and they show no signs of weakening.

Would recommend this album to anyone who likes music without hesitation.

Their newer albums are better than most of their later 80s and 90s material. Still prefer the earlier stuff and up to 'This Nation's Saving Grace' though.

pretty strong album
Not as consistant as YFOC..but still very worthy

Nate Will Not Return has such a wicked groove
and the subject matter is something only the fall could try haha

really love monocard to
that shit is heavy!

Got the album, spun me out how heavy it is in places. Still, not their best but a strong album none the less.
