We've all noticed that our fixture might have been a little tough so far, so I put made a table based on who each team has played at their respective ladder positions. The number represents the average ladder position of the opponents, higher number is easier:

Collingwood 10.73
Melbourne 10.36
NorthMelbourne 9.91
WesternBulldogs 9.73
Adelaide 9.45
Richmond 9.27
WestCoast 9.27
GoldCoast 9.20
Sydney 9.18
GWS 9.00
Geelong 8.82
Essendon 8.82
Brisbane 8.73
PortAdelaide 8.60
Fremantle 8.45
StKilda 7.55
Hawthorn 7.09
Carlton 7.09

So the Pies, Dees and Roos get the comfy ride, Blues, Hawks and Saints the toughest to date.

I thought I'd expand it to the end of the season to see whether it gets better for us... it actually gets worse!

NorthMelbourne 9.77
Collingwood 9.59
Carlton 9.59
Melbourne 9.41
Hawthorn 9.27
Brisbane 9.18
GoldCoast 9.09
GWS 9.00
Fremantle 9.00
PortAdelaide 9.00
Richmond 8.95
WestCoast 8.86
Adelaide 8.77
Essendon 8.73
WesternBulldogs 8.55
Geelong 8.41
StKilda 8.41
Sydney 8.23

While it's evened out throught the comp, we actually still finish off the year with a tough draw. The big mover is Carlton, who rocket from equal worst fixture to equal second easiest for the year!!! They really have a piss easy run home. So the Pies and Dees look good on the ladder today, but on average the Saints are playing teams about 3 positions higher than they are, that's every single week.

I'm not complaining, pretty hard to get it 100% right. But like the umpiring, I totally expected us to be at the unfavourable end of these tables.

Really great work there Munga.

I guess because we have been pretty much in free fall on the ladder since the early rounds.....it looks far worse as there's not many teams below us.

So we'll get a piss easy draw in 2019 then
