On that though, don't the ball lovers say the stars we can see are bigger than our sun?
If they were all bigger than our sun then the big bang would of collapsed back on itself.

Granted they do say there is massive bodies out there but if you think about stars and their size relative to our sun, it's bullsh****

I saw some massive bodies lining up down at the local Jenny Craig the other week too!

"Hey ladies!" I called out, "just because you believe in a round earth doesn't mean you have to look like one!!"

Yeah, they shot me some very dirty looks. The couldn't catch me of course because that would've involved exercise.

Another thing about these stars that astronauts can't agree on seeing or not from outer space. I remember watching (I'll try and find it) a video and the fraud Buzz Aldrin was talking about UFOs. Anyway he reckons he gets near the moon and he can see a space ship. He discussed it with the other frauds but they all agreed it looked different to the stars as it was moving,so they were totally positive. So clearly he's acknowledging he can see the stars.
All this contradiction about whether the sky has stars from space or whether it's total blackness is pretty solid evidence there is clearly some bs being spoken. Lies are evidence where I come from even if your a sad and sorry government hush puppy.
The video is in the NASA thread

Ball lovers have no idea about size let alone distance. They think we should be able to see Mt.Everest by simply looking out the window,or we should see ships sailing for eternity.
Well it's my opinion they go into this lightyear bullsh** because it's the only thing they have as to why the stars don't move in the sky while we are hurtling through infinite space..... light-years......The closest star to us is 4.24 light-years away lol.....Our sun is 7 light minutes away.

Stars being light years in distance from the Earth explains away this rubbish we see in the sky......Perfect arcing star trails.

And your opinion seems pretty legit.
If scientism was so spot on how do their spaceships even travel to the planets from our own Galaxy?
Surely they should say that once we enter the vacuum of space we ourselves are travelling at light speed to catch up,but they don't,because we aren't,and if we could that should have ramifications for those on earth via technology.
How are we sending majik spacecraft to the outer limits of our paersonal perspective of our galaxy, let alone wondering about the universe as a whole? It's a religious battle that the religion of fraudulent and institutionalised science are fraudulently trying to win.
If the universe is expanding we can't catch it,if the earths spinning and hurtling we should be flung off. This religion can't have it both ways.

Hi all, new to this thread, only read a few pages but interesting reading so far.
One thought that immediately popped into my head was that guy who parachuted from a ridiculous height a couple of years ago. Surely from that height, he would have been able to see either a globe or a flat earth?
This is a screenshot from his jump.

At first I thought that was RE proof but it's not only been shown to have been shot on a fish eye lens it's also been shown that he wasn't high enough up to see any curve anyway. It's smoke and Fish eye lenses essentially.

No way is the earth that small that it curves that much. Look at that NASA image of Lake Tahoe. The Lake is massive in the CGI'd photo compared to the curve they photoshopped on the horizon. It gives it away that NASA is into fakery.

Look at amateur videos, up 120,000 feet, where the camera pans around 360 degrees, and it's just ENDLESS flat horizon....because the earth is truly humungous, so large you would NEVER see a curve that high up (120k feet). You would probably not see a curve (IF the earth was curved) until you were like 400,000 feet away if not further.

Hello GB#36 and on behalf off the FES society welcome to the thread, and we're happy you have enjoyed your reading.

Yes,we've seen the video your referring to and have had great chuckles. The video itself is laughable with it's switching camera theatrics, and multi screen shots, but do you really think a man could jump from such a height and survive?
This was an advertising stunt, performed by a company to attract attention, science wasn't important while carrying out this little stunt. Redbull surely must give you wings. At the FES Redbull is popular though as many of our members are a bit off coffee since the Starbucksgate incident. Personally I still don't mind a flat white but I just make it myself using a coffee machine,I have gone off donuts though.

Youre on your way to deciding whether to throw out the heliocentric model or not.;):thumbsu:

Welcome

This thread reeeeeeeeaaaaly needs another Bay13 holiday.
Why would that be Wally?
At the FES we think the bay are a bunch of cheap losers, unable to discuss science or even football without boring tripe. A strange tribe who are only relevant amongst themselves. In their own little world they think they have humour that is boredom to a normal person.
Would you be a bay type Wally? Maybe the bay clowns can get all dressed up and accuse other folk of being trolls?

Sadly its all to true!
We bay types are a tribe of clueless clowns who wouldnt know the difference between a flat earth and a round one if we tripped over a forty mile high wall of ice.
It was not always so, once we were a group of open minded, free thinkers but things just haven't been the same since we were infiltrated by the Jesuits :( .

You discuss science here????

I'm confused by your point still Wally? You bay types are able to start your own threads so why have you come here?
At the FES we are happy to answer genuine questions and have proven ourselves as a happy bunch to genuine discussion. We are interested in science not ego. We will dismiss the ego bound for sure, and we don't accept the religion of fraudulent and institutionalised science, make of that what you will and keep spinning.

Whatever makes you think I have a point?

Why don't you think a man could survive a parachute jump from that high? (PS - the height has since been beaten by another jumper, although he did not freefall).

I didn't realise Flat Earthers had a singular view of football and the bay as well as the shape of the earth. How does the shape of our football fit in with your theories? I would've thought you'd prefer frisbee myself.

Quality contribution as always Jack.
This thread is about science and astrophysics, those incapable of these topics should post elsewhere in a forum more suited to their intellect

Its really not.
Um...ok.
The lies told by ball lovers is a conspiracy but at the end of the day our planet is tied up in science.
At the FES we care about the truth, and scientific understanding as well as education. If you think science should be institutionalised there are some terrific programs on television with wacky characters like Bill and Neil talking fraudulent garbage.

You've stumbled onto something here. It is why they call the frisbee game Ultimate, they know.
