I thought we could keep tabs on former players and what there doing with themselves and how there doing.

Jason Saddington is playing in the Prelim final against Port Melbourne today in the VFL... however most of the Melbourne based swans of course will be supporting Port.

Anyone else want to fill us in on what the former Swans there aware of are up to right now.

I've been updating RWO throughout the season.

There's a whole heap of them in the SANFL:
Norwood - Doyle, Phillips, Terlich, Matt Davis, Rowe
Central District - Hayes
Glenelg - Willoughby
Sturt - McGlone
South Adelaide - Thewlis
Port Adelaide - Meiklejohn, Beckmans

A few in the VFL, besides Saddo
Geelong - Simpkin
Sandringham - Garrubba
Casey Scorpions - Faulks, Wall (both had great seasons)

WAFL just the one Daniel Hunt with West Perth

A few in the Canberra league - Aarons Bruce and Rogers with Eastlake and Mark Powell with Queanbeyan.

Luffy played in the Sydney AFL grand final yesterday, a loss unfortunately. Earl Shaw also played.

Luke Jarjoura with Southport in the QAFL. Ben Mathews also playing in Queensland, not the QAFL but a lower league fantastically named the Pineapple Hotel Cup.

# Adam Prior playing for Wodonga in the Ovens and Murray (and won their B&F last year).
# Luke Vogels playing for East Ringwood in the Easter Football League.
# Paul Currie playing for Eltham in the Northern Football League.
# Guy Campbell playing for Rochester in the Goulburn Valley Football League.
# Brent Piltz playing for Kirk's old club North Albury in the Ovens and Murray
# Ricky Mott playing for Kukerin/Dumbleyong in the Upper Great Southern Football League (WA)
# Robbie AhMat started the season as the coach of the NT side in the QAFL, not sure what happened but he's now playing for Dunolly in Victoria.

Matty Nicks i heard the other day is now the head coach of Scotch College in Adelaide.

Luffy playing for UNSW/Easts in the Sydney league.

Dunno what he is doing now, but i did happen to see Stephen Doyle at the SCG at the Lions game for the Mick, Leo, Crouchy farewell, dont think he was in the past player tunnel, cause i saw him in the OReilly stand just before the bounce.

EDIT: Grims post reminded me that Rowan Warfe is playing in some Bendigo comp.

Bloody hell, some are flooding back now.

Filandia has been the Dogs' runner for a while i believe.

Saddo just loped around today and did what he had to, they beat Port to advance to the GF against Brett Goodes's North Ballarat the former club of Dale Lewis and Tony Lockett

Is anyone else excited about the thought of getting Troy Luff's son (who is 13 at the moment) under the F/S rule. It will be perfect as LRT will be close to retirement by then so Troy Luff's son will be able to fill the tall and lanky blond requirement on the Swans list.

David Murphy has a son thats a St Scum scholarship holder and that is a disgrace. Who else can we think about.

I read somewhere a few months back that Paul Kelly does have 4 (or possibly 5) children and i know at least 2 of them are sons (they may all be sons).

In 10 years time we could have 4 Kelly's in our midfield

Robbie Ahmat's Dunolly lost by 9 points to Newstead after blowing a 3-goal second quarter lead. Robbie's hammies were buggered so he couldn't kick with any power. Kicked 5 behinds from FF. Could have won the game off his own boot with proper hammies. Shannon Motlop played for Dunolly too.

I like the idea of this thread except does it have to be post AFL/VFL playing careers? For example Tony Morwood currently runs the South Melbourne membership dept and doesnt get enough recognition for the hard work he does, or certain ex Swans players that loves nothing better than sitting around hanging shit on BF whilst having a beer etc, must be some interesting goss?
