Unfortunately I have this horrid parting image of Raph in my mind. Was it the Kangaroo's game. Raph was actually looking really good, he got a rebound happening, took a bounce, opponent approaching rapidly. Every StKilda supporter in the stadium could see it unfolding like it was in slow motion. How could Raph be the only one among thousands not to notice, Raph noooo thousands of people were yelling, another bounce arrrrrrggghhhh.

Boomer nabbed him, from that moment onwards, Raph's card was marked never to represent the Saints again.

This sums up why Raph had issues. He was tall, fairly quick & strong, reasonable mark & kick. But he appeared to have no instinctive feel for the flow of the game. This meant that he would have to think while others did. Don't think, do.

He always struck me as a natural forward.
 
Cmon theres plenty of Collingwood turds out there for us to hang rubbish on. No need to "Eat our Own" thats the job for Richmond supporters.
