Sorry but when you dish up dribble which basically says we should all dance around and act like the CFC has no issues then I am going to raise concerns.

If everything is so perfect why are we not 16 and 0. To me 8 and 7 means we have plenty of areas to work on. Given our best 5 or 6 players are as good as any other clubs clearly we must have a weak bottom 5 or 6 and as such I am comfortable continuing to point this out as until the bottom 6 get better we cannot win a flag.
Maybe because we have only played 15 games...

Threads like this really make me wonder about Carlton supporters.....

When was that post dated? It's a bit strange that you have to dig up dirt on me by going through my old posts. Your nothing but a unsuccessful troll. I changed my views towards Jordan Russell when I read an article that was written by the Herald. And no, I didn't openly bag him 24/7 and blame everything on him not like other posters.

Think before you post you twit.

Zieball Zieball :thumbsu:

Ha Ha, you have been exposed. You have made posts potting Jordan Russell, and then you turn around and start crying 'leave him alone, ALL OF YOU' after reading an 'propaganda' article in the Herald Sun, that wasn't that terribly good a read in the first place.
Jordan Russell is Carlton's version of Aaron Fiora, and there are many, many Carlton fans out there, not just on BF, but in the outer and who ring up talkback radio each week, who think he's no good.

And after two average games against the worst sides in the league, you want us to give him 'credit' and say that he's finally arrived as a player ..

That's just crazy talk.

Exposed...wow. I didn't like Jordan Russell but I didn't go over the top like you have, bagging everything that he does and doesn't do. I think that he is beginning to become a player.

Your are a Saint Geelong_Pride.... :o

You realise its possible to be critical of a player and supportive? The two are not mutually exclusive. I was Ok with JR being dropped a few weeks back. I am also happy that he has been playing well since reurning to the seniors.

Im quite supportive (personally) of Gartlett but was suggesting he be dropped during the week myself as he is getting too easily pushed off the ball.

Its OK to be critical of a player... in a reasoned and constructive manner.

Really? I never would have guessed.

Is'nt that the whole point of the artice that this thread refers to? So you agree with the points made in the article?

No one is suggesting he's 'arrived'.

And I'm not going into the reasons why JR deserves a game this week on the back of two solid performances, and derail yet another thread into you slagging off JR.

Lets have a temporary JR amnesty. If he doesnt gather 20+ possesions on the weekend at 75%+ efficency and lay 5 tackles, we can talk then.

Read that article again. You might have missed the fact that he knows that supporters give him shit. He is a kid for god sakes.

he means from the boundary line. don't overestimate bigfooty. we aren't talking to anyone but ourselves...

As for the criticism over the fence, he claims ignorance.

Does he hear it? "Not really. Maybe when you walk up the boundary line."

Does he take offence?

There's a long pause before he says: "No. They (supporters) don't know the structures, what role I've been given.

We would have done well to be 16 and 0 from 15 games!

Is this putting unessiary pressure on Malifice?

Will we see footage of JR writing these goals on his wrist before the game? :D;)

Brett Deledio thread...

TBH, I was being a little tounge in cheek. The above are apparently the magic milestone stats for JR to reach weekly in order for us all to not have to cope with a trillion derogatory and inflamatory threads on his playing ability (or lack thereof).

You being serious? I know for a fact thats a little naive...

Well with the Fiora comparison (and I am convinced they play similar styles as well FWIW) I was refering to more the constant 'criticisms' he has gotten from fans during his career, at both Richmond and St.Kilda, they had an article in the Hun earlier this year, and I think Fiora did 'imply' that constant 'heckling' and 'verbal abuse' by supporters at games did 'dent his confidence' and was part of the reason he is out of the system now.

Like it or not, they will always be fans out there who have it in for JR, just as their was for Fiora at the Tigers and Saints.

The most ironic thing out of all of this is that I didn't think Fiora was that bad a player, just got an extremely raw deal from their supporters, and perhaps, perhaps in some way, (but not to the same degree IMHO) Russell is getting it from Carlton fans.

The comments and vitriol I've had at games by spectators btw is far far worse then anything I or anyone else have posted on bigfooty (I've heard some fans wish injury on Russell, which is pretty poor form)

If it pissed you off, at least you know how we all feel now!

Lets just let him play his footy, for the team we all love, and support him on the way. If he plays poor, we should be able to feel free to critique him in a constructive and objective way, and have faith that he will be dropped/ delisted/ traded by the club to make way for a different player that can do it better.

Let the ferals eat their own. We are a bit more civilized over here at Carlton!
