Macca was interviewed after the game. Looked fine to me. Didn't see any incident where he was involved either. You sure they got it right?
His shoulder was heavily bandaged in the second half. There has to be a reason why they did this.

Good:
4th quarter
Tippett - took some strong marks, kicked 4 goals
Maric - dominated against a young ruck, has been good all year
Douglas - Crucial tackles on the wing that led to goals, also kicked a couple
Johncock, Mcleod - shame they got injured

Bad:
Gameplan - indirect, sideways, short passes, ugly football. i swear apart from the last quarter, and including the last 5 weeks, we play the ugliest brand of football.

First 3 quarters were horrible, it was clear that both richmond and adelaide were the two worst teams in the comp, redeemed ourselves somewhat in the 4th, but wow the first half in particular was terrible.

Burton - i'm a fan, but how he gets games i dont know. only plays well when we dominate (front runner), cant kick, does not have penetration, gets in the way... there is no excuse as to why walker is not playing ahead of him now after today.

Goodwin -apart from his last quarter i thought he was poor, turned it over a few times, a captain should not miss 15m passes. also his attempt at crumbing was laughable early in the 3rd i think, needs to play like his 4th quarter more often, get him out of defence permanently.

More injuries...

Ugly:
see above

IMO its good we got a win, but the first 3 quarters were the same old as we have served up in the last 5 weeks, and if it were any other team except richmond, they would have been too far ahead at 3 quarter time for us to catch up.

The last 25mins saved that match. Crows were crap, we beat the bottom side who were absolutely awful, I don't take much from this win. I'm just glad we got the winning feeling back. Douglas a player who is one of my whipping boys, actually played well tonight. He still made typical mistakes, but it looked like he had a heart.

Cook can't tackle...he did some good things, but wow teach him how to wrap someone up. Every tackle he layed was broken with ease.

The first 3 quarters was some of the worst football I have seen by either side. Once again the zone was penetrated to easy, if were playing a top half side would of been 8 goals down at half time.

I'm a negative person, but seriously don't get to excited with that game. To make things worse, our two best players got injured.

The Good

Our last quarter!!
Maric
Macca
VB
Tippets last quarter
Johncock
Doughty
Vince.
Richmonds first 3 quarters.

The Bad

Cooke and Schmidt (I cringe when they get the ball)
Richmond's last qtr
Injury to Stiffy in the last 2 minutes (what did we do wrong did we kick too many old ladies?)

Ugly

Footy on Mothers day (dramas if mum wants to watch something else on telly) :o

Macca was interviewed after the game. Looked fine to me. Didn't see any incident where he was involved either. You sure they got it right?

announcement at beginning of presser - we got two AC's tonight, Gr.Johncock and An. McCleod. Hopefully the bearer of bad tidings got it wrong.

The Good

- The fourth quarter

- The crowd that was there

The Bad

- Johncock starting the fourth on the bench again, after last week's debacle

- The lack of a crowd

The Ugly

- The first three quarters of absolutely rubbish.

- Not a good performance, Douglas and Petrenko the positives in terms of improving personnel. No steps forward will be taken until we make the tough calls on a few ordinary senior players. Doughty (can you say wallpaper over the cracks? I felt terribly conflicted when he kicked that goal), Stevens, Burton.

- Cook struggled tonight.

- Johncock's game was outstanding but unfortunately the amer injury curse has struck again. Every time I've gone to trade a player into my SC team and backed out at the last second they've copped an injury. Ablett a couple of weeks ago, Drummond last night and now Stiffy. :(

Next week we're going to need you to trade Brent Harvey and Hamish McIntosh.

Good:

Johncock as always
Tippett taking monster contested marks and kicking goals
Porps slowly getting his magic back
McLeod being consistantly good. What we need right now.
Petrenko finding the footy in space. Confidence is what this boy needs.
The win. Against poor opposition but confidence is a big thing in football and hopefully it gave our group some.

Bad:

Not making as many turnovers but they are still there and still hurting us. Dumb football being played at times.
I'll continue to say that our shepherding is hopeless. Such a basic thing that if excecuted right, can give our players sooooo much more time with the ball to make better decisions.
Burton
Bock looks lost at the moment.

Ugly:

Johncock. If out for a long stint is a HUGE loss. HUGE!!!

Good : 4 points, stiffy, macca

Bad : Douglas toughen up, a love tap to the guts, puuhleese, stiffys injury

Ugly :the embarrassment of watching the crows having to play ugly to beat a bunch of kids, surely given the discrepancy of talent the game plan shouldve been to go run and gun and blow them out of the game by the first quarter, yet this is the world of Neil Craig, I hope he and Charlie Walsh open a fresh flask of breast milk tonight and enjoy the ecstasy of beating a team of sub SANFL players, the song should not have been sung tonight until the team beats another team of substance, 15th is not good enough

GOOD:
Oh hai yo Tippett and Porpoise are back in touch
Pizza Boy! Gee he's been good
Macca
Johncock
Crowd was pretty good considering where we are on the ladder and how we've been playing
8 goal 4th quarter :thumbsu: Great against any AFL side
Petrenko
Evaarn
Van Berlo
Just happy to get the win. It's been a long time coming.

BAD:
Turnovers were plentiful in the first half
Johncock's injury (and Macca's too, apparently)

UGLY:
That stupid act against Douglas by Dean Polo, was worse than it looked

-Maric/Johncock - If we are serious about building a premiership side, one of these two must be our next captain. Each has a massive onfield presence. Won't happen though.

Johncock gives me the impression of a player with whom the captaincy would just not sit well; the sort of burden that would weigh down on his form.

Maric, he's a real goer, but he equally doesn't strike me as the brightest of sparks.

Good:
- We won
- Last quarter - Sensational!
- Douglas - improving every week. Love his second/third efforts
- Tippett back in form

Bad:
- First half. To be trailing Richmond at half time was unacceptable
- Johncock's injury

Ugly:
- Umpiring
- Dean Polo's hit on Douglas (like coach like player). Because it was so far off the ball and it was clearly inentional I think it'll be 4 weeks minimum, and may go straight to the tribunal.

GOOD:
4 points!
Last quarter was brilliant, bought back memories of the second half of last year
Maric's ruckwork and marking
Mcleod - still got it
Douglas!
Johncock

BAD:
Stiffys injury, shit!
Stevens
Cook - pretty up his performance any way you like, he was average
Burtons kicking

UGLY:
Dean Polo - dog act from an average player

The Good:
The Crows giving a lucky few mothers flowers
Finally a win even if it was only Richmond.
Players able to run out a game without tiring.
Continual improvement of our young players.
Andrew McLeod
Return of form of players.
Graham Joncock - BOG until his injury.
Winning a milestone match.
Going through the corridor more than wide forward entries.

The bad:
Goal kicking accuracy.
Still allowing easy entry into the oppositions forward line.
Some players going kick chasing instead manning up their opponents(which hurt us when we turned the ball over).
Quite crowd in the 1st three quarters.
Time keepers.
The Crows not giving each attending mother a single flower.

The Ugly:
Still flooding at times.
Biased umpiring.
Graham Johncock's injury.
Andrew McLeod's possible AC injury.
Polo's dog act.
Richmond trying to rough up players off the ball in our forward line in the last quarter.
The AFL's poor form with scheduling the game.
The AFL allowing a half hour delay on the TV coverage which didn't help our crowd attendance.

The good:
First win
Johncock's game.
Last Quarter
Kicking over 10 goals
Mcleod best of the seniors

The bad:
Burton
Stevens
Johncock's Injury

The Ugly:
First Half....depressive.

GOOD:
- first win, even if it was against the 2010 wooden spooners.
- Maric - his ruck work to advantage was phenomenal, even if it was just against a rookie ruck in Vickery.
- McLeod and Johncock's games.
- Tippett, back to his best.
- Porpz goals.

BAD:
- McLeod and Johncock's injuries, especially Johncock's, because it looks like he'll be missing games
- Stevens - did nothing.
- Myke Cook - looks closer to being dropped every week, but won't.
- i hate twilight games...and i think so do the fans. it's dark when the game finishes and goes through most people's dinner time.
- Vince - he just slams the ball onto his boot without looking or thinking and about 3x in the first half it ended up being smothered quite easily.

UGLY:
- first three quarters was depressing to watch - the turnovers and skill errors especially.
- Burton - cannot kick to save a life. why he is still being played up forward is ridiculous.
- the ball kicked into the forward 50 (1st or 2nd quarter) to a forward line consisting of: Burton, Douglas, Thompson, Petrenko and Stevens....because Petrenko and Stevens are natural defenders being played up forward, Thompson is a midfielder, Burton can't kick straight, while Douglas has only just been improving in the past couple weeks. disappointing to go from powerhouse forward line of natural forwards to that group.
- time keeper.
- Polo's punch on Douglas - what a stupid move behind play.
- Myke Cook jumping as third man up, but in doing so, puts his hands in the back of Maric's neck/head to reach the ball and doesn't really get much higher than if Maric had jumped slightly off the ground. Maric gets knocked forward and Cook adds a hitout to his tally, but to no one in particular. i don't understand the reasoning behind third man up, when Maric/Tippett are dominating the ruck against an inexperienced Vickery and hitouts to advantage.

Good

- 4th Quarter
- Johncock and Andrew McLeod
- Tippett
- Douglas
- Noise made by the crowd that did show up.
- The AFC giving flowers to a few lucky mother's.

Bad

-Burton
-The first 3 quarters was just depressing.
Ugly

- Timekeeper/person that blows the siren
- Crowd
- Injury to Johncock, our BOG today
- McLeod possible injury- I really wanted him to get the 350th game. Maybe in 2011, who knows
- Umpiring
- Polo's hit on Douglas - bet you he doesn't get weeks though
