I've said it before, listening to Tony Shaw comment on coaching or list management would be akin to taking advice from the CEO of Lehman Bros on how to run a bank

He has the intelligence and foresight of a shitzu, but apart from that, he's ok

Just have to look at his coaching record, doesn't appear to have much nous.

Tony Shaw embarrassed himself yet again today talking about the Tigers "old" list. Then when challenged by a caller tried to turn it into a discussion about whether Jake King (and others like him) will take us to a premiership. Shaw, like a lot of other expert commentators, is LAZY. They do zero research and turn up on air relying on their playing history which is now way out of relevance. He has not picked us once, and while that is not a capital offence, I reckon it just shows he doesn't understand what's going on.
I don't get emotional about it but I reckon it's laughable these clowns get paid to deliver such ill informed crap. What are their KPI's?

As an old Tiger that was there for all the glory days, I never thought I would see a group of Tigers playing for the jumper the club or the supporters ever again.Yet here it is a young man with such determination on his face, who will give his all who will take the impossible mark and turn a game.Jack is a courageous young player but we have another 20 just like him willing to put themselves in and get the bloody ball.The toughness of our captain, now I never thought he was a leader but he has proved me wrong he can lead all right.This group of Tigers still have a long way to go, but they are all very exciting and I just love them~~Who cares what other supporters think I sure as hell dont for me its about my club the good and the bad.

Haven't had any bad experience with opp fans so far! Everyone's been really happy for us, it's good not to be getting the sympathy crap anymore. Had a bombers fan at work come talk to me this morning, saying he's excited for the Tiggies/North game and wants to head along because he doesn't see either play often. Has been behind us the past few weeks as Essendon aren't giving him much enjoyment! Also said how he wishes they'd got Hardwick as coach - heard this a few times now.

I'm very excited for this weekend, I know a few cocky North fans who at the beginning of the year made ridiculous bets on beating us, one as far as having his left nut surgically removed if we win - please do!

Just want to get up over a Vic team! Shall be good.

Discussing this the other day with a fellow Tigers supporter and came to the conclusion about the 4 phases that opposition supporters go through in their view of The Richmond Football Club.

Phase 1 : Pity

Phase 2 : Love

Phase 3 : Fear

Phase 4 : Hate

In my view we are probably about 15% past love and 75% behind fear.
If our form and development was to continue for the rest of the season into next year we could see a rapid progression into phase 3.

I know Im asking for it but I'm 38 years old so I've never gotten past phase 2
