In other words you want to perpetuate the sentiment that this is not a new season and that this years losses wear the baggage of last years losses. It will be a different team this year with hopefully more constructive losses than just getting murdered like in '08 but hey, if you think one win will symbolically change everything on this board then great.

Did not like the spirit shown by the Demons last year and thought Bailey was let off the hook pretty easily. Consistent hammerings by opponents should have alarm bells ringing instead of fans hoping much of the same continues the following season so the team gets the first two draft picks.

I would like to see development from the 2007 draftees and the continued development in your next group of leaders in McLean, Rivers etc. Melbourne has 6 top 20 draft picks from the last two seasons and these players should be introduced into the team when they perform well in the reserves and hopefully by the end of the season a few of these players have established themselves in the side.

In 2009 I would like to see the Demons show some heart.
