I would like to sincerely apologise for my rude and uncouth comments directed at Joel Bowden and Scott lucas this season. It is not your fault that you were both very expensive in Dreamteam this year and it was also not your fault that you were either injured or inadvertently omitted from the team due to circumstances beyond your control.

Your mothers have never given me oral sex nor have they been a "pig on a spit" with Milne and Montagna, this was a crude and hurtful comment aimed at extending and venting my own frustrations. I therefore extend my sincerest apologise and wish you all the best for 2008.

I would like to second this. Buddy is arguably the best footballer in the AFL at present and I for 1 believe a few more newspaper articles about him could go along way.

On behalf of the Port Adelaide Football Club I apologise to all the SA-based non-Port supporters for the years of deep-rooted psychological damage that we have inflicted upon you over the many years. I apologise for pre-1991 where the Port Adelaide Football Club treated the other SANFL clubs like a pit-bull terrier treats a rag doll. While it was not our intent to cause you so much distress at the time it was simply an unforseen consequence.

I apologise for being ambitious and wanting to rise above the stagnation of the other SANFL clubs. While I acknowledge this may have caused you much anguish I feel that awakening the conservative football establishment in the state did have benefit for all SA football fans.

I also apologise to those that dumped the VFL club they supported and started supporting the Crows conglomeration for Showdown I. I realise you expected to beat the Port Adelaide upstarts but were left lamenting you poor choice of club support. (Although it’s not too late to revert back to your original VFL club)

I would next like to apologise to Crows supporters for the four years we spent in the top four which dredged up all those bad memories you felt in your pre-1991 days. Lastly I would like to apologise for winning the 2004 Premiership and making you look like second rate South Australians. I sincerely hope that the mental wounds will eventually heal and that you will one day return to society as normally functioning individuals.

Oh yeh, I would also like to apologise to Neil Craig for saying he was a risk-free defensive coach that produces some of the most boring football ever fashioned. Initially I thought he was trying to enter the history books for being involved in the first ever nil-all draw but I now realise that he does not have a forward line and that his best bet is to keep the game low scoring and to try to bore the opposition into submission. After all, it worked for Jimmy Carter at Camp David so why shouldn’t it be tried on others.
