1 unit represents a portion of your bank, whether that be 1, 2 or 5% etc.

So if you have a $100 bank, and your unit is 1%, than $5 is 5 units. If you have $500, than $5 would be 1 unit.

Ha, no need for that.

Around here, people often use it as a measure of how confident someone is on a bet. With 1 unit being a standard bet, if someone wants to plonk down a 4/5 unit bet, then you can be fairly sure they're confident.

So do people actually use units every bet or is it more of a way to convey confidence on here ...or just pretend they have a great and unsurpassed knowledge of all things punting ? I have that but i don't bet in units because I don't have a bank. I guess i spend around the same every week, is there such a thing as a weekly bank?
