Just watched the Brions game again and I gotta say, I was really pleased with Hannath's game.

Always thought he looked a bit slow for the top level but (notwithstanding the shitfulness of the opposition) his work around the ground was really good. Positioned himself nicely, kicked intelligently (that chip to Mundy in the last) even supplied a bit of shepherding which I dare say opened up space for our forwards to kick goals.

If he hadn't fluffed that kick for goal along the ground, it would've been a great return all round for the big fella.

All of a sudden I don't think our ruck stocks are looking so dire.

Not big enough to be a good ruck, not mobile enough to be a good forward. Except for that mark against richmond in his debut he has not done anything to make me excited.

Too good for the WAFL but just doesn't have any elite components for the big time.

Strongly disagree, Clarke was our worst player, Hannath was ordinary but better on the day. Clarke is a f***ing joke and it's becoming a disgrace he gets to wear our jumper now.

I think Clarke knee only allow him to play alternate week of good footy. is very hard to prepare a team with him around especially when the team is running behind in scoreboard when he is in walking mode.

As for Hannath you can prepare his average performance with two good pitch hitter in the team.

In the game against Brisbane Clarke had more hitouts, Hannath had more possessions.

This week should be a better gauge to see where he really is. Trengove is a pinch hitting defender, Dixon a tall forward with a decent leap. Depending on who is playing this week, if Hannath cannot break even in the ruck and be somewhat effective at times then the writing might be on the wall.

I think a pass mark at minimum would be nullify their ruck and first usage, body work and pressuring his direct opponent in marking contests and spoiling the ball out of bounds on kick ins from fullback.

He is a lumbering type like Kruezer and can still be effective. Against Port as long ashe isn't left for dead with speed he should be right.

Hannath is more than WAFL standard. As it stands now our ruck stocks are Sandi and Griffin who are both injured. Clarke is on one knee and Hannath isnt the best.

Yes, but what else does he do besides jog around? Hannath gives effort at least. ha, what?! Pretty sure us giving Sylvia a game when he didn't deserve it was questionable. Playing a bloke who gives very little effort is actually quite embarrassing, there's a reason he signed a one year contract and why Ross said publicly he needs to lift, but hey I know nothing about getting a game for freo

I saw it with peel that Hannath ruck , Smith and occasionally uebergang pitch hitting win game in wafl. To said he is not wafl level is a bit bias. As long you are running and not jogging your teammates can help you out.

Hannath can't jump and at his size its to big a problem to overcome. Add his lack of pace and Cobblers right he is barely WAFL quality.
