I assume the only difference is that he won’t be coming into the club in any capacity and treatment, training, monitoring etc would all be handled by the AFL?

Western Bulldogs forward Jamarra Ugle-Hagan is taking a leave of absence from the Club as he deals with personal issues.

The decision has been mutually reached by Jamarra and his family, his management, the Club and the AFL.

A management plan has been developed with Jamarra.

"Jamarra's health and wellbeing remains the absolute priority and he will be given whatever time he needs,” Sam Power, Executive Manager - Men’s Football, said.

"We will continue to support Jamarra throughout this period.”

The Club and the family have asked that Jamarra’s privacy and that of his family be respected at this time.

Maybe the media can now leave Bevo alone. If they have any sense of decency. (Tall order… )

No. He needs to be put on the official inactive list for that to happen.

He has obviously been given plenty of chances to do the right thing and re-integrate, but failed at those chances. Just wondering if there is finally an agreement between all parties or not.

It's probably more the club saying that they have tried to support him through flexible arrangements for a number of months. At some point, if he continues floating in and out creating a distraction for the players, then that is a situation that the club cannot have.

Credit to Luke Beveridge and the players in particular, it doesn't appear to have led to any noticeable issues on match day.

You’ve got to wonder what his “friends” and family are saying to him. He must be getting some of the worst advice ever.

He hasn't been moved to the inactive list, this is purely a case of trying to limit the media speculation, the amount of Marra questions Bevo gets in pressers and the constant will he/won't he in regards to training on a particular day.
There are many things still going on behind the scenes but this doesn't impact those one way or the other.
