Wow- did I overbid on Portis. I guess at this stage when there are so many gm's with lots of money (relatively), it's best to make small bids unless you love a guy, and just hope that one of the rich gm's doesn't like him or overbids on someone else.

Its a tough time of the auction. Trying to get value not only for this season but potential bargain contract targets. If youve got the money and wont be contracting them, spend and get the guy you need.
Marcus Smart is a good get for Billy, especially if contracted and he develops...
