Unquestionably the most one-sided umpiring performance I've ever seen in 30+ years of watching football. So blatant you'd be forced to think it was corrupt.

Anyone want to point out some of these poor decisons?

50m penalty against Jesse White (explained earlier).
Initial free kick against Kennelly which led to the 50m (50m was probably fair enough)
Holding the ball against Nick Malceski for Mayne (absolutely zero prior opportunity)
Non-holding the ball when Ballantyne got crunched (this was comical. I mean when you explain to someone who doesn't follow the game, you'd show them that passage of play. Except the umpire didn't blow the whistle).
Free kick against Grundy for his 'jumper punch' (after seeing the replay on TV, even calling it a punch is generous) after seeing McPhee throw haymakers with no repercussions.
Deciding to pay the first throw of the game with 2 minutes to go directly in front of Fremantle's goal (techically, it was probably a free, but you can't not call that for 119 minutes and then pay it in the 120th).
That ruck 'infringement' against LRT leading to Clarke kicking his first goal.
Bahaha forgot about that howler, it just gets worse.

There was one earlier against LRT where he got pinged for 'shepherding' out the other ruckman. Even though LRT won the tap. So he basically said "you basically made the perfect ruck contest by not allowing the other ruckman to tap it, and then tapping it to your teammate. I am going to pay a free kick against you for that good piece of play!"
Hang on, so one of the free kicks Swans fans are annoyed about is the free against Grundy where he threw it, late in the game? Because it wasn't paid earlier...
Seems to me your gripe should be with the umps not paying earlier throws, not when they actually made the correct decision.
My point is, a rule is a rule, no matter the time and no matter if they haven't paid it earlier. It is still a free.

Clearly chopped the arms.
There is a difference between having no prior opportunity and not making an attempt. Malceski went limp, that is holding the ball.
Firstly, that was lucky not to be in the back to Ballantyne, secondly unlike Malceski Ballantyne made an effort to move the ball on by hand.
Play on was the right call.
The actions of others prior to any kick do not dictate the outcome of any free kicks to come. It was dumb by Grundy, he was sucked in and paid the price.
That's no fault of the umpire, it lays squarely at Grundy's feet.
That was clearly a throw. How you can argue against it is bemusing.
The fact that it was 20 metres out from Fremantles goal should make no difference in whether it is paid or not.
The commentators applauded the umpires for the decison.
I think you might just be a sore loser.
His arms were wrapped up in the tackle. how could he make an attempt?Clearly chopped the arms.

I think it comes into play when discussing consistent application of the rules. A number of punches from Freo players that landed were not paid and a jumper punch.by Grundy, after Balla had a few air swipes I might add, was given a free. The actions of others prior to any kick do not dictate the outcome of any free kicks to come. It was dumb by Grundy, he was sucked in and paid the price.
NO one complaining about the ridiculous free in front of goal where a swans player lowered his head, headbutted Fyfe in the chest and then kicked a goal from the free?
Tell me what you thought of the first free of the day, given to Balla.
Clearly chopped the arms.

Clearly? The player himself thought he had given the free kick away for holding the man, starting to argue before realising it was his.

Malceski had no prior opportunity and quite clearly made two solid punches at the ball before being taken out of play. Let's be honest you're speaking out your arse.
Firstly, that was lucky not to be in the back to Ballantyne, secondly unlike Malceski Ballantyne made an effort to move the ball on by hand.
Can't see how in the back is paid when you tackle someone to the side. Ballantyn made little effort, if not less effort than Malceski with more opportunity.

When the same umpire has just watched two players punch the opposition in the face multiple times and called a throw in instead of paying a free kick and then pays a free for a jumper punch despite watching Ballantyn lay three himself and still be swinging when he copped his own I'd say prior interpretations of actions certainly come into play. If punching a bloke in the face three times is deemed legal I can't see how the interpretation changes not even 30 seconds later?
That was clearly a throw. How you can argue against it is bemusing.

One commentator applauded the decision. The same commentator that seems to think that the umpire who paid the free kick is a more valuable contributor to the game than the players out there. The same commentator that managed to give Leon Davis three votes in a match where he hardly touched the ball and his own supporters were calling for his dropping from the senior side. Please.
