Seems to be the fan favourite to take over again on a Rangers forum I visit. Muscat, McInnes, Dyche have all had shouts as well.

Martin was never the right fit for Rangers but they have kind of painted themselves into a corner with potential managers. The fans booed the team off at half time in Martin's first pre season friendly game in charge lol. Van Bronckhorst got emptied after making the Europa final and winning the Scottish Cup. On an expectations v reality basis any manager is crazy to take on the job. I guess at this point Slippy has nothing to lose and if he comes back he gets Celtic at the bottom of their cycle again so would have some chance in the league.

They certainly knew and loved when Tom Cleverly was in charge and they were pissed off that he was sacked. Similar to us with Rosenior, whoever replaced him was never going to last long.

Watford go through about 5 managers a season. They even re-hire managers and then sack them again.

Forest are starting to look like Watford part 2 if they sack Ange . They might have their 3rd manager of the season by November.

I appreciate him wanting to give Amorim time because I do think managers get next to no time to have to get things going before they get the sack.

However, in 3 months time if we’re in the bottom 6 with no sign of improvement, I can’t see him surviving.

I don’t know about you. But I think both of our clubs are ****ed.

Spending hundreds of millions of pounds on new players isn’t cutting it as we are both behind Bournemouth.

It will turn eventually, we are probably a couple of seasons ahead of you guys though.

While I dont like our style(youf focus) It probably will be a long term success with the amount of money we throw at it.

Seems like Danny Röhl is strong favourite to take over at Rangers since Gerrard ruled himself out.

Rangers fans don't want him through looking at his 38% win rate, whilst Sheffield Wednesday supporters can't speak highly enough of what he achievement for them in his 2 years there.

We'd also been looking at Benitez apparently, but can't see it.
