Klopp is no SAF as he's giving up middle of rebuild. Probably got poached by Bayern. Alonso to Pool, but I hope they appoint Stevie instead lol
Yes its the classic burnt out and doesn't have what Wenger and SAF had about him, more in the Mourinho 1 team mould.Ah yes that classic middle of the rebuild walk away when you're 5 points clear at the top of the table with 1 loss for the season.
Geez that didn't last too long.
I'm pretty sure he only came in around October (ish) to replace Warnock.
Guess not - the squad is pretty tripe though.Something like 8 draws in 15 games or whatever hasn't gone down well.

I must say, I don't love giving a manager that short a time frame. He's come in mid season, barely made it through a transfer window (where I'm sure there was little to no investment) - the man is not a magician.
That's bizarre to me - spending for a manager that was clearly under pressure. Unless they thought those players would work for whoever the replacement manager is, it just seems an odd choice. They spent 2m on a striker from Watford and brought in a few other big signings, but agree with the sentiment.
* me, this would be the most hilarious thing to happen in football in some time.
Please yes.
