- In 2015 we'll make a surprise jump to finish in the top 4 after finishing 10th the year before
- BMac still coach
- Greenwood, Redpath, Austin, Marko, Howard, Gia, Cross, Morris, Boyd, Higgins all gone
- Libba finish top 3 in the brownlow
- Wallis captain
- Cordy/Minson one of the best ruck duos in the comp
- Stringer more into the midfield, a Jobe Watson type

Grant still there?

Punctuation matters.

F#%#ing a dude
F#%#ing A, dude

Big difference ;)

Not for some.......

(not that there's anything wrong with that.)

-Roughly by 2018 we will have made a preminary final which follows the pattern. 85,97\98,08\09\10. (although i hope for quicker, like an 92 apperance but stay a challenger)
-We will win a perliminary under Macca, he will still be coach.
-Jones will prove the haters wrong and stay on the list and be at the top of the Dogs goalkicking.
-Doggies will play home games at Geelong eventually before the AFL buys out Docklands at the very lest.
-Stringer will kick goal of the year within ten years time.
-Libba will lead centre cleanercnes.
-Wallis future captian, won't go back to leadership group.
-Roughead will become a Harry Talyor type in the future, capable going forward and mark\kick goals but pimarly a key back. Depends on opposition at times.
-One of Hovart and Pudden for rising star if Stringer plays too many games.

Ill prob add more later.

Grant still there?
I actually forgot about Grant! I think he'll be traded to Essendon or Hawthorn and perform reasonably well in his first year there, but then drop off the map and get delisted. We'll get around pick 31 and pick up a serviceable player, so kind of a meh trade.

2015 Predictions:
McCartney will still be coach, and on an extended contract.
Bulldogs to finish 6-9th. Will start strong and tail off like usual but may be handed a softer draw after 2-3 years of terror.
The VFL side will be premiers, given the depth of our current young players and the 2nds quality players like Markovic that don't translate to AFL level.
Mitch Wallis will be skipper, and young Josh Wallis will be at the stage of development Mitch is now.
Liberatore will be recognised as an elite player now that the Bulldogs are tasting some success.
Cross will be gone. Too slow already at this stage. Much respect to the man, he is this club personified.
Expect at least 2 current GWS/Gold Coast players to be on our list - the homecoming of the Victorian talent.
Hrovat will be considered an absolute steal at Pick 21.
Stringer and Jones to remain our forward twins - If it ain't broke don't fix it.

McCartney will still be coach
German gone
Hansen to have bigger role in development coaching
Griffen will be captain with Minson and Wallis VC's
2 of Murphy, Boyd and Morris still playing
Gia, Cross and 1 of above retired.
Bulldogs heading for a mid table finish outside finals
Markovic and Austin to still be Western Bulldog players.........VFl only players that is
Only 1 Goodes playing in AFL....Brett
Cordy finally reaching time where he proves the mob wrong
Off current list; Vezspremi, Grant, Greenwood, Austin, Markovic, Tutt, Redpath, Jong
Pearce/Howard/Cooney/Willaims/Addison all ??? A few wont be around
Stringer starting to play more midfield.
The Bate/Talia and Dawes/Hrovat missed trades recognised as the greatest escapes of all time
The large Lower'd list continuing to grow.

FYI all,

This thread will be closed in a few days so get your predictions in...

McCartney will still be coach
Mid table
VFL squad will be a huge boost
The new football manger will be another astute choice
More father son picks than we know what to with - will they all be drafted?
Another top 5 pick and top 10 pick will be enormously beneficial
As far as more adventurous predictions...Jong and Greenwood to still be on the list

Thought I'd drop in a prediction.

We've just strung together two close wins in a row (St. Kilda and Port) and the team has looked good over the past two weeks. Up and about and firing. Still inconsistent, but the future looks good.

Macca will still be coaching.
Libba will be recognized as an elite midfielder.
Griffen will be captain.
Stringer will have established himself as a top 10 forward.
Hrovat and Macrae will be gun midfielders in their own right.
Addison will still be at the club.
Gia, Cross and Boyd will have retired. Morris and Murphy in last or 2nd last seasons.

Macca will still be coaching and have his contract extended to 2017
Libba, Smith and Lower will become the three best tacklers in the league
Griffen will be co-captain with Wallis
Macrae, Stringer and Hrovat will poll really well in the raising star
Prudden and Hunter to have one full season in the vfl and have a massive impact next year
Grant, Redpath, Vesz will still be at the club
Greenwood retain as well
Gia, Cross and Williams will retired.
Morris and Murphy to stick around for another two years (barely they go uninjured)
Bulldogs will draft mature age forwards in our second-third round picks

no trade during the off season (a lot of close deals but nothing will be done)

Macca Coach
Griffin Captain
Just make the 8
Libba will top our Brownlow voting
Minson will be slowing down and we won't have a replacement ready to cover the hole.
Everyone will be predicting a top 4 finish in the following year.

That's my biggest worry. We'll have just about the best midfield in the competition - Smith, Hrovat, Macrae, Liberatore, Wallis, Griffen and Stevens, one of the better forward setups with Jones and Stringer as the spine, Lukey D, Dickson, Higgo crumbing off them, and a brilliant rebounding defense of Johannisen and Wood with Roughead and Talia as the posts.. But we'll struggle to have prime delivery to the mids around the ground. Big Will's been an enormous influence this year and is a prime example of just how long it takes to develop an elite ruckman.
Do we throw Cordy in the deep end now for the long run, back Campbell to be our Darren Jolly, or take a stab at picking up a 25-26 year old ruckman from another club?

Liam Cameron Coach
Buddy Franklin Captain
Merge into the Greater Western Bulldogs
Win a flag 2017
Western Bulldogs to become the Top VFL side and the AFL to do a revolving door between AFL/VFL to the side that finishes last.

Well then, Melbourne are toast.

- McCartney still coach - at least I hope so as he seems to want what I want - i.e. other teams to be bruised and battered/hurt after the playing the Dogs - not to mention a bloody flag.
- Some older players gone - Gia, Cross, maybe Boyd, but hopefully not Murph and Morris in the shorter term.
- Libba elite, Macrae elite, Wallis captain reliable. Stringer the best player in the comp - just ragdolling anyone who dares come near him (as a side note - Dogs please give this man a 5 year contract NOW!!!). Our other younguns also in the upper echelon.
- 2014 showing some signs of what we're made of .... 2015 going deep into finals .... 2016, 17, 18, 19. and 20 flags, before a years break (complacency :) )and then another two or three flags.

Yeah, that should about do it.

bmAC is of course coaching the club
We are positioned in the lower half of the top 8

Griffen is captain

Best 22 is

Jong, talia, roughead
JJ, Roberts, wood
Cooney, Griffen, Macrae
Dalhaus jones stringer
Smith, Boyd, hunter

Minson, Liberatore, Stevens

Wallis, Grant, Addison, Prudden

We have great depth and just lack a little polish up forward to really challenge the top 4

Macca is coach.
Libba is coming off an All Australian year.
After just missing the 8 in 2014, 2015 is a year we make finals but get kicked out first round after a spirited performance where we just fall short.
Liam Jones is the premier CHF of the league.
Teams will be having the "Buddy" discussion when talking about Stringer i.e., "How did we let him get to 5th?"
A few veterans will have retired (hate predicting the demise of champions, feel it's disrespectful)
Shaun Higgins finally had an uninterrupted year in 2014 and kicked 40+ goals.
Ayce will find his feet as a ruck/forward but still be a whipping boy on these forums.
