I wonder if it's really woosha who is behind thr crows' uplift. Can never tell.
That is why they are desperate to get him as head coach. If not, they will offer him a less stressful assistant role. Woosha is tactically superior (see how they dismantled WCE) to anybody else available. Wisk we had him. Maybe we can steal him.

Stealing him would lack integrity. Wait.

You troll, Ashley Browne.

Miss the eight? Here's your team's first order of business.
Good on Charlie Dixon, Gold Coast and Port Adelaide from sparing us the nonsense. Dixon wants to play for Port next year and be reunited with Ken Hinkley and it is going to happen. Port will be kicking itself at missing the finals this year, but the mistake would be to believe things will automatically fall into place in 2016 given the super finish to this year. Port went 12-10 for a reason and Jay Schulz's decline was one reason, so plaudits to Port for swiftly identifying what needs to be fixed. If I were a fan of the Power I'd be thrilled. Port might also lobby hard to play two matches against the Hawks once again next year. Guaranteed eight points.

I did not mind McDermutt's article in this morning's Monopoly Mail. It was a reasonably fair assessment as our only two A ratings were Robbie Gray and Wingard. Hombsch, Wines and Boak were Bs. The rest were around the C+ to D bracket. My only gripe is Mc Dermutt was a bit tough on Sam Gray, given Sam's limited opportunities and the progress he made I would probably rate him a B as well.

To be fair he probably didn't take his chances earlier in the season. As for the Monopoly mail, I saw a copy in the local chip shop this am. Meh.

Fair few in the media have become Crows lovers, including Rucc, Russell etc.

Nah, they are just on the bandwagon since Phils passing.
2013 and 2014 when we turned things around same thing happened to us. Where are most of those people now who were praising us and worshipping us at our feet practically?

Rucci has written a five part series on Port's year. It's mostly behind the paywall and too much effort for me to circumvent. But have a look if you will.

It looks like Port have given him quite a bit of access to help keep him onside.

PS as per Barry's lament have you noticed how Caro has a lot of inside info from the crows this year? Another original strategy from our bastard child. In George Martin's world I guess they would be called Adelaide Grass.

I don't understand why the club does this.
Rucci is a hack. He might claim he's a Port supporter, but you've got more chance of getting real support for Port out of Chaplin.

The club needs to embrace the digital age and go beyond a few emails about selections and updates from KT.
I want to hear about Port Adelaide from Port Adelaide, not the wanks at News Corps Crowvertiser. That includes Rucci.

Or how about doing a media partner deal with InDaily or some Victorian outlet? Make it an option for memberships to get digital subscriptions.

I'd rather use Google Translator to translate a publication in Hungarian if it meant I didn't have to subject my self to giving Crows Now more hits to their site.

Not that I'm at all on board with this idea of a Crows-Port love in that has seemed to crop up a bit this year, but I still was pretty surprised to see article,

http://indaily.com.au/sport/2015/09/18/crows-can-avenge-port-says-fagan/

Actually can't believe Fagan is capable of showing support for our team, a bit taken aback tbh.
He's not showing support, he's big brothering us. It's patronising bullshit. Just like when Kochie put his arm around Chapman, it's all part of the power struggle.

Yeah, **** Fagan. We can fight our own battles thanks.

Hmmm, well when you put it that way... **** Fagan!

Whew, I was feeling real uncomfortable there for a second with the notion that Fagan may be capable of feeling human emotions.

Lol **** South Australia. The crows could be playing the Ward Street Von Einem's tonight and i still wouldn't support them.

Don't get me wrong... would never support that team under any circumstance... they could be playing against the Berlin Aryans and I'd still be rootin' for old Adolf.

I just thought it was huge surprise to hear Fagan say anything positive about our club at all after completely snubbing us after the way we handed them the Phil Walsh showdown.

I'm giving a nod of the head to the PAFC website injecting humour into its articles. Pages like September Survival: Taking your mind off footy, The ten worst Port Adelaide merch items ever made and Port Adelaide reveals most hideous footy jumper of all time.
But also the links to political events in pages like Power restructures coaching panel where the page heading starts off with "Now this is a reshuffle ...".
Nice to see something different, especially with the Doggies winning praise for injecting humour into their banners.

I have to agree with this.
The increase of sms on my phone from fringe Port fans asking - 'have you read this from PAFC' says its appealing to the wider audience.

I already praised the PAFC website for humorous articles but how about this one today, An open letter to Graham Cornes (subtitled 'Seven reasons why Graham should bury the hatchet and support Port Adelaide')?

"..... You know we’ve already got your sons in the fold, and your grandsons will be too, under the father-son rule. Yep, 'Cornes' is about as Port Adelaide as you get ......"
