It's awful stuff and really poisonous. One of those things you have to read to believe. Someone, anyone has to call him out on his rubbish. He goes round and round in circles and nothing anyone at the club can do is ever right. He is obviously doing his damnest to bring us to the brink and over.

He constantly plays up the poisoned chalice and the fact we are on the edge of the abyss.

Poor old KT. The "novice" has done an outstanding job. I can't recall Rucci ever praising the novice for his handling of JMAC's death.

Somehow Port supporters need to stand united against this. I realise that we have our "facebook" brethren amongst our supporter group, but perhaps a prolonged, anti-Advertiser, anti-FH campaign at Family days and Aami matches next year is in order. Campaign all Port supporters to not go near Adelaidenow or the Advertiser until he is kicked out.

Rucci is carrying out a personal vendetta against club through the media, and he's hit a new low with this story. You can't call it an article because articles are meant to contain facts.

Also I don't know how Tim Ginever stops himself from not landing a few when he appears with FH on the 5cc Saturday morning sports show (like yesterday). He must have enormous amounts of self-control.

Nippy must be a die-hard masochist, having to work with an all camry loving crew on breakfast radio.

I am not aware of Rucci's influence in Adelaide, but I live in Melbourne, and he does a segment with Kevin Bartlett on SEN weekly. So, only going from what I have heard from him, this is my impressions of him.

I heard that he is a Port Adelaide "member". Big deal. That doesn't mean he loves the club, and may have just bought the membership to feel that he has a right to criticize the club.

I remember a few weeks ago, when Ratten was touted as Port coach, Rucci was heavily pushing for him to take a cushy job at GC or GWS instead, and almost asked why he would go to a club with no facilities and a poor list (reading between the lines, he means "basketcase"). He built up Gold Coast as heaven on earth, and Port Adelaide as "hell on earth". Yet this guy claims to be a Port Adelaide "member".

A member sticks with the club through thick and thin. A member follows their team year after year, whether close to a flag, or a hundred years away from it. Members suffer rain to see their team play,will travel if they have to, want to watch every game, and want to see their club succeed. Their anger at the club is borne from frustration, rather than hate. Their loyalty can't be questioned. They expect loyalty from their players and coaches, like they have modelled themselves.

A member buys a membership every year, to be part of something. They follow the lean years, and the good ones. They remember their past heroes, and celebrate their new ones. They embrace new players, or the new coach, and welcome them, as if they were one of their own.

Michaelangelo Rucci does none of these things. He may have bought a membership, but he is not a member. Not in the least.

He was missing from the radio for a few weeks after John McCarthy died. I wanted to hear from him how the club were dealing with it, etc.

Does anyone know why he went AWOL during the time of McCarthy's death and funeral?

I had to laugh at Ruccis comment on the radio yesterday about his alanced journalism. He said that as he had given crap to the Crows in the past it was his duty to do the same to us as a journalist. I am fine with that as long as it's factual.

He also started harping on about how we are not a club as we aren't member owned anymore and because the member elected board members were kicked out. I don't remember them being kicked out.
