I've been actively boycotting 5AA and The Advertiser for years now.
I'm only listening because I need to get my mind off other shit going on. It's sure doing the job.

Cornes wasn't as bad as I thought he would be, nowhere near as spiteful as Rowe's been this arvo. He said 'Port fans & people love it so that's all that matters' maybe Rowe should just heed those words that it doesn't concern him or their fans at all.

They say it was a disaster last time we pushed the Creed well what made it so? Partly we were a poorly performed football club that didn't live those words but the main reason it failed was bitter fools like Cornes made it their mission to bring down & hate on it at every opportunity they could.

Perhaps if the creed had the line "Da Da Da DaDaDahhhh" they would like it

What a surprise that the one pissant flog who takes issue with our Creed on AFL 360 is stupid cRowe, called us arrogant talking about premierships in rd10 & the chest beating has started.
Wasn't this the same numpty saying we should lift the lid after the Geelong game? What a tosser...

LOL.

It has nothing to do with arrogance.

It is a mission statement that would be perfectly suited to any sporting club in the world - give your all, try your best, leave it all on the field for your club and teammates.

It just so happens Fos Williams penned it.

#timetosecede #sastandsforstupidassholes

Rowe: Magpie people like it Power people don't

What part of it can even be construed as pro-Magpie/non-Power?

It's not even a cogent thought let alone a valid argument.

Because no alf in the SANFL.

Not sure what the carry on is all about by the tingles fans. Its a great piece of writing, very inspiring, very soulful, could be applied to all in life in general.

It just shows how heartless and emotionless the Cows corporation and their fans are. They pick on the creed for cheap laughs, as they have no pride or soul of their own.

Pride of Souf Straya mate!

Crows people don't know what a club is. The creed is another effort to distant ourself from that soulless, plastic piece of shit.

Rowe saying it is arrogant is just his bias piece of spite. If he knew anything about the PAFC ( and thank **** he doesn't) he would know the creed was created to deter arrogance and to show people the commitment it takes to be a part of the PAFC. Winning is such a small part of it.

I sent an email to them. Directed at Rowe, i used my real name and email to show i was genuine. Words to the effect that Rowe has no right to an opinion on our Creed, and how we use it. Given that he hates Port, probably been bashed from pillar to post when he plodded around for Norwood, and he is a Crows ambassador / arse licker.

Funny, i cant even remember the idiot playing for Norwood, and i remember him being a fat arsed back pocket plodder for the cows.

And all of a sudden he has an opinion on our Creed, and he thinks it matters ????

Rowe. Your irrelevant, your mouth is bigger than Sydneys Luna Park, and your brain is slower than you as a player. Now f*&*k off !!!

I don't care what any of these dicks have to say and I refuse to listen. As said many times, I haven't listened for years and have read the paper when it's been in front of me about 5 times in the past 3 years. I stream SEN sometimes, or listen to Champs on tab radio every so often and read stuff here, the old tpfp, social media, et al. I have not missed out on anything significant by not watching local news services, listening to the 5aa 'sports show' or reading the advertiser.

I don't need them and they clearly don't seem to need me. As soon as I saw the 360 episode I knew that the 5aa clowns would be all over it - I don't understand why they care - it has nothing to do with them except they think they can impact us by being critical of everything we do, in their small petty pissant minds. oh well - we just continue to BE Port Adelaide - more Port Adelaide than ever before, because we now have true reach because of the modern era as it now exists. Nothing the haters do or say will impact me in any way - I'm not going to waste my energy getting upset by the same old types who have always had it in for port - like the old 'too old too slow' articles, our response was to do what was best for Port Adelaide, live the creed and win premierships. People like Rowe, KG before him, and the Adelaide establishment who try over and over to 'kill us' only serve to make us MORE Port Adelaide, stronger, more resilient, more innovative, more likely to succeed. I love it - my club is back to it's best - as it was always going to be.

Tribey said earlier the creed isn't necessarily about having to win Premierships.........but its an aim in doing so. As long as you physically leave everything out on that field, give your heart and soul for the club.

Nobody else outside our club understands or embraces the creed, because they think we are using it to be cocky. It's not that...........it's a drive to strive to be your very best, and results will follow.

I'm sure Kenny would have written the creed if Fos didn't.

I compare it to the start of the year when the crows captain was asked when D Bailey passed would the club be going out their to win for Dean?

The answer was no , they didn't need the extra bourdon .

By making statements it doesn't mean that you need to win every game, it's about effort and taking responsibility and challenging your team.

Every time Ken gets the chance he challenges the group, this is the Port Adelaide way .

We will never die guessing.

Trying to explain the concept of the Creed to people from Glenelg and Norwood is like trying to explain a computer to someone from the 17th century. The concept of actually putting what is expected of every player and person associated with the club down in writing is so foreign because they want an excuse to wallow in their mediocrity if things don't go right. Those people think it's arrogant to hold yourself to a standard of performance, because it highlights their ineptitude as players, but more importantly, as people. Morally derelict is the phrase I would use for them.

The Creed isn't just some idle words written on a piece of paper. It's a contract, written in and on the hearts of everyone who represents PAFC, that we will not go quietly into the night. That the only people who can keep us from fulfilling the message contained within that statement are we ourselves.

At Port Adelaide, we don't shy away from pressure and expectation. We embrace it. It's why we will win on Saturday night. It's why we have won 35+ premierships. And it's why we will soon be winning another.

As I posted, it's none of their business and they don't have the right to try to interpret it. The Creed is for Port people only.
This.

Fos wrote The Creed before Stupid was even born but just because it was highlighted on Fox's AFL 360 he sees the need to attempt to ridicule and demean it on his radio show. What a sad, sad little man and what a pissant town Adelaide is that his radio show is still on air.:thumbsdown:

Live the Croweed

We, the players and management of the Camry Football Corporation Pty Ltd accept the heritage which players and administrators have passed down to us; in so doing we intend to be happy to tread water as long as Port Powaz makes a bit less money and shall strive with all our mendacity to ensure football goes backwards in the state we claim to represent.

To do this we believe -

There is great merit and noble achievement in falling arse-backwards into a couple of premierships in the late 90s when the emergence of a local rival frightened us into a temporary state of competence.

That to be successful each of us must be active, aggressive and devoted to this cause... wait, forget that, we're already successful, aren't we?

We agree that success is already a done deal because 119 and tarps, and each member of the team and management will suffer personal sacrifices especially to replace lost draft picks and make room in the salary cap for Dangerfield.

Also we know that, should we after striving to our utmost after giving everything still not be successful we will simply redefine the meaning of success; please see above.

Finally, we embrace the honour of defeat, and to each of us, honourable defeat of our franchise and ever-changing guernsey can come only once our customers decide that they'd rather minimise their wait time in the car park and/or bus queues.
